My youngest child will be 18 in September 2023. How far in advance do I need to contact the courts to have my child support end at the age of emancipation and not still be obligated to pay 2-3 years after my child has turned 18? I was told by a child support case worker here in Tennessee that if I don't let them know that my child has indeed reached the age of emancipation that I will still be obligated to pay even though she is 18. All of my daughter's information is documented with juvenile court i.e. her name, social and date of birth but they're telling me that I have to tell them or still be obligated. This is truly extortion on a high level smh.

I'm yeah I was trying to continue my question well they did the 5 top earning States for profit under that you know the law that has nothing to do with the mother or the children but then they did mention the next four states and my State Michigan came up as number 6 Tom profiting off of what they bring in and what they send out which falls under no that has nothing to do with the mother that killed her that means they're taking the money in and they're sending it out but they're not sending all of it out they're making money off of it and propping it up it when it should be going all too good for the children I am going to have to call you guys for a free consultation cuz I just today been watching it since early this morning and learning all these rights and you know I I guess it's under 44 CFR 264.0 I which I don't know if that's it that's correct exactly when it says some when it doesn't have anything to do with the children they also talked about like as far as how they come up with what you should pay monthly and they said that they contract a lot of it you know I do that and there's a lot of people that cannot determine that under law and a lot of the states have people doing that calculation that under the federal law they don't qualify to do that kinds of ticks and you know they can't do that calculation at all and I don't know if it's 95 - 144 I know there is a county level a state level also I mean I would like to know I don't know how to find out who calculated my payments but they were saying in most cases and Most states it was contracted and someone that calculated you know what you have to pay per month wasn't qualified to do that under federal law I don't know how to find that out but I do know a lot of these issues I've been going through or went through and I brought up was all when my case was still opened so I'm going to contact you if you would contact me at this email address this it would be nice if that kind of getting the idea if what options I have even if it's suing them in federal court because even though it's closed all these issues arose when it was open and and from what I'm reading there's several violations I got violated with under federal law that was passed another law suits and stuff so most of my issues besides it being closed now and just knowing I have rights we replied why the case was open so I might I don't know I might even be able to Sue I have not sure I would like to contact you guys and have a free consultation I break now cannot afford to my ex works at Detroit Diesel which is a UAW Union she makes as much as money as some of that works at Ford or GM a lot of money I haven't had income for a while I think I'm about to try to apply for disability so I can't even afford a lawyer and even when I was making low income for all these years and she you know was making high income it didn't matter and same with the fact that I do not have to pay child support when I had my children a week or more well I had my son for 4 years and my daughter for a year that's five years of child support they have on my credit that you know they did didn't even address like I don't even know what to do when I tell you I sent all that information and with the correct form never heard back from them at all and then wrote a letter and never heard back from them all they got to say is they never received nothing and Friend of the Court Wayne County Detroit Michigan is probably

Also my son lived with me since 14 and I had told attorney general at court but they refused to change that. I feel I am being ripped off by my ag because when I find laws they look away and tell me I have to talk to the custodial parent. I have a question I got a lump sum put on as I debt for back child support the case was closed for years ago on to one it'll be four years ago my daughter may I just turned 18 9 years ago same day birthday they both have birthday tutu on he turned 18 the problem is that under my divorce papers it states that had joint legal it states that if I have my children or a child for over a week I shall not have to pay for child support well my son came and lived with me in Tennessee he was having a lot of mental issues my ex cannot handle him he live with me from 14 days I sent paperwork to Family Court Wayne County Michigan Detroit Michigan didn't receive it I never got a reply because I have proof that my son was in high school down there he also got approved for disability as a minor you're on disability is through the federal and that was under the same Tennessee address it was also put in counseling you know for the issues he was going through and put on medications where we lived in Lebanon Tennessee prevent that he does not live in Michigan with his mother and the Friend of Court acted like they never received the paperwork and never got a reply I wrote a letter I've tried to call and still no reply this is been years ago I didn't know any of my rights and I got all my credit down to where I don't have really any dad besides what the child supports on but under the Fair Credit Reporting Act that number is not correct if they would reply to me and I would have got a court date and it's still not correct and I can prove it because I can prove that he lived with me for four years and my daughter also live with me down there for one year and I can prove that cuz she was in high school and stuff down there in Tennessee as well so that's five years of child support that's a lot of money and they also before sum of the years when I was a 1099 worker and I was married so we had to file for my wife's you know money not to be taken but I filed as you know subcontractor and they did take my child support tax money out of that from what I understand and was reading they are not allowed under law and there's cases that show that they cannot do that if I'm a 1099 which I was or no self-employed they do not put consider that as I got some regular income what not but they did this when the case was still open and you know I got receipts when them taking my return cell right there was against the law when the case was open and when they were charging me for child support and my children were living with me same thing again that's when the case was hoping I also got thrown in jail which I understand how they put that is that also violated my constitutional right because under the federal law I think it's number 95 - 1441 from the 9th District it had nothing to do with my kids so therefore I should have never been jailed I also got a felony put on me for that at the same time and I did six months in jail for it which under the 9th District in the number 9 5 - 144 1 it has nothing to do with my children which it didn't and I did get jailed and I also got a felony on my record for non support payment this is all you know stuff that was done prior to my case being closed and I did see this and your little preview I don't know if it matters to me but they did put everything as a lump sum and it's still on my credit and from what I might understand is after ten years after child turns 18 they got to remove it so one more year for my son but it's going to be six more years for my daughter but what the reporting that I owe if they would have even responded to me and I could have got a court date they would have had to take all that child support off when I had my children full time I even claimed them on you know like the child support So are not child support on my taxes in Tennessee and I would see no subcontractor and they took my money every year and this is when like I said it the child support was open also you know I got jailed and I found a put on my record and from what I understand but I had read since it had nothing to do with my children play by elated Me by putting a worn-out jail and me and also putting a felony on my record I just want to know what I can do after the case is closed but there's a lot of issues as you can see number one what's on my credit report is not the correct amount and I can prove that buy just the documentation that I had proof of my you know that my kids were living with me very easy even better documentary when my son was on disability but I they didn't reply at all even to my to that to another letter so you know even if I said I sent them something all they got to say is we never received it which is how deceitful and messed up Wayne County Michigan Detroit Michigan is probably one of the one of the worst and I also found out that there's five key states that you know a show that they make profit like how much money they took in for child support and how much money they paid out well that means they're profiting off of that which again falls under it has nothing to do with the mother or the children well Michigan where I live pop that be all they said that was number six as far as how they got it setup for the
