You can try it. Personally, I wouldn't try it on any car because I can see how it can destroy your rear windshield, but it may work since solder would bond to copper. Just you'll have to be careful trying and there's no going back once u solder. With conductive paint, you can wipe off.
I don't think it's worth it at that point. The conductive paint is really only for touch up and even then it doesn't look great. If the entire line is gone, you'll need a replacement rear windshield.
This is fantastic. I had written off my rear defroster for years. Going to give this a try!
I just found your Chanel the other day, love the chanel so far it's great to see someone also restoring an ef In canada on RUclips
Thanks! I appreciate you watching! 😁
had no clue such a product existed. might give it a try
Yeah they work great if its just to make it functional. Wont look pretty though. But better than replacing the entire window.
You should gently scrape the track either side of the break. You need the paint to make an electrical connection.
Nice video bro, can this work with regular solder, cause i can't find this product

hmm.. weird that it didnt work out for you...
Well it did when I made it ugly haha. But to make it same thickness as the original line, it didn't work. Applied many thick coats too.
Every thing is made in China. As least it works, however.
