Just a good pieced together turbo kit can cost 7-8k alone in parts never mind labor and the manual swap.. id say about 15k for both to be real nothing is cheap now a days smh

From my experience and biggest regret, if you're gonna spend this much money on a turbo setup, and have the engine out just build the motor at the same time.

What would this roughly cost me? I have a 01 is300 and was looking to t56 swap and run a basic turbo kit. I’m not wanting crazy hp numbers, I’m just looking to get my foot in the door with a turbo car.
if you dont want HIGH power gials, just get a CX Racing kit. plug and play. you can get about 350HP. you dont have to open up the engine at all, you can run stock ecu, stock transmission, stock internals, stock injectors. just plug and play the turbo kit.

my friend has a toyota altezza 2jz 3.0 vvit-i and he wants to put turbo in it . (not too powerful its not necessary) . Is it okay to put a turbo on that engine. Can it handle??
Yes it can for sure. the Altezza is the same as the is300. Just get a CX Racing turbo kit. he can get about 350HP. it will be fun to drive and the boost sounds.

This is a "simple setup" ??? This seems like a bunch of work to NA-T this motor. This is atleast 10 grand of parts labor, maybe more... I'll just be lame and keep mine NA.. :/
