For everyone that wants to know more about Turbo in their Lexus I S 300 feel free to reach out to us
i am now the owner of this car drove all the way to Tennessee from Massachusetts, super fun car to drive
still stock bottom end ?
hell of a review if its the same engine
Thanks Rob for taking on this car! Purchasing someone else’s project always comes with a ton of headaches. Coming from out of state, you and the guys still managed to make me seem like a priority and feel like family! Much love for all the help!
That's a sick is300 bro! Very clean.
Stock ecu?
Yo im so glad i found this channel he's like the lexus gs/sc/s car cod lol 😂basically a great ass channel with great inform ing you can really learn alot
🙏 thank u bro I try really hard
You guys are awesome! I like the fact that you prioritize the customers wishes and working along with the assorted BS that breaks along the way. Wishing you all a super successful business and keep up the cool vids for us Lexus guys!
Thank u bro that means a lot appreciate the sub and the views
performance No problem bro. I watched a couple of vids from you today with my boy. I enjoyed the one with the IS that was mangled on the dyno and made a comeback with serious power. A question which might take some of your time; I have a 98 IS300 auto, bone stock. What would you recommend for a mild power(300-400) set up? I hear some people run stock computers. I'm trying to go as inexpensive as possible but won't buy junk. If u have the time, could you layout a suggested list of parts that I should use without craving "crazy" power. Like I said, it's an auto n want a stealthy look with like 300-400hp. Kinda looking for the least amount of cash but with what you would consider "decent" parts. Thanks so much for your time brother! Keep up the awesome work!
Is that the same Haltec they use in Mighty Car Mods? Allows remote tuning and diagnostics. Amazing
Action clutch isn't ebay my dude they make a very good clutch. Also proefi, haltec, motec, fueltec are all great ecus where the two step is phenomenal. The stock vvti ge bottom end is the only weak bottom end, he can throw a set of gte or ge non vvri rods in that car make 750+ without an issue all day long. As long as that w55 isn't in there anymore of course. It needs a pump, a trans, and a set of pistons and rods and it'll make a ton more power very easy
Oh I 100% agree with u man but the customer was already tapped out on his car financially a long time ago and has no intention to do anything more then where he is at ... hence the roast
Agreed but please don’t say “very easily” that list is some decent coin. If you mean easily as in the car will do that and probably more you’re 🎯
@@vic8189 gte pistons and rods are around 250 or less. A hellcat pump is 150 bucks. A CD or r154 thrown in that car is about 3k or a little less. That is the trans adapter kit and clutch. The trans is the most expensive part. I've had multiple jz cars since before I could drive and learned how to pull my first 7m/jz down with my dad at 4 or 5. I still have my gte t56 is300. So I'm speaking from experience the pistons rods and pump altogether are less than 500 bucks the trans in the car is 3k or a little less probably 3300 all said and done for everything. That's not alot for a budget jz car ready and able to make a around 800whp
@@vic8189 I mean it in both terms. The car will make it easily and that isn't "decent amount of coin" when looking to make any mthing around 800whp. Especially with a jz. If you want to go any further I can give you a number of examples out of the probably 12 to 13 jz builds I've put together in all maybe more. We can itemize a list of what is needed and how much it costs right now. Off the shelf budget parts. An entire non vvti ge bottom end can be had for 300 bucks sometimes less. None of that is alot of money. At all and if you think it is then that's a problem within itself
@Evil8GSR "None of that is a lot of money." That's relative, dude. You just rattled off a minimum of $5k in parts with no labor or machine work. Sure, you can buy any random set of GTE rods & pistons, but to do it right you have to spend more money to ensure its all assembled and balanced.
He said the owner was maxed out, so this is it for him for now.
Jimmy Oaks runs all Link Ecu's and his 2 steps are pretty bomb
So what turbo kit do you recommend for the stock block? I am trying to do this on my automatic daily driven 05- is300 i will surely be happy with 400hp daily driven.
You will need a stand-alone Ecu bro and to b on e85 to hit #s like that
same here
Bro you crapped all over that car lol. We understand you didn't build it, but it seems you took the job just to criticize it for the whole video. Nice looking car at least.
Is this a stock unopened VVTI 2jzge??? I'm actually surprised
Nice
Could you possibly tell me how much money it would cost for the turbo kit exhaust and everything I wanna push 300 no more than that
Someone answer please
How much do you guys charge to turbo my stock 2005 is300 with labor and parts i want 400hp daily driven?
I don’t give out Pricing over RUclips Please contact me through Instagram
Wish you guys were located in AZ
Hey man we’re not that far away
I am having some problems with my 1ggze toyota engine I can't get parts for it I'm considering upgrading the ecu ignitor wish we can talk
U mean 1g gte???
How much you be charging for that work?
Do a video on what needs to be done in order to tune the cars and check
What do u mean check
Check spark plug gaps vacuum leak wastegate spring .all thing that involves tuning
That’s a good idea
PreDyno checklist
did u just say aem only has a 2step ? lol my haltech 2step shoots 8 foot flames u really dont know what your saying do u?
Damn for a professional you're really talking a lot of shit about this dudes car. Yea sure it's not top shelf build but there was way more polite ways to talk about your customer's car.
Customer is on here 2 man and he’s seen the video and asked me to blast him on the shotty work that was done .car should have been built better and as a shop and a builder I find this unexceptable . I’m just straight up honest man sorry u don’t approve I guess my channel just Isint for u then my boy
Would this be a bad idea for a daily ? Maybe running about 5-8 boost mines auto tho
Now this is a great for a daily that was kind of the idea with this build customer bought the car with this already all done but when ahead and spend the money on a standalone .There is kind of a backyard way of doing this back in the day in like 2008 there weren’t really any options for doing set ups like this so we used to just run like 7MGTE 550 cc injector and put the kid on and go ahead and use safc on like 5 psi and. Worked just really really basic with no where near all the fail safes as a stand-alone Ecu now a days
Maybe soon will get somebody in the shop that is super super on a budget and we could do something like this to show you guys but still I’m letting you know A standalone ECU would be best and safest
Supra is The best car in The world
Yea I do believe
Octopus intake manifold 😂😂😂😂😂😂🤩
What all would you have to replace on the GE engine for it to get 500-600 hp and run on pump gas? If thats possible.
Not gonna happen on pump gas it will detonate , and if ur talking about vvti ge u will need to do forged pistons and rods
The rods are a weak point and not designed to make over 400hp.
370rwhp on e85 vs 312rwhp on 93 octane.
That’s a tiny filter
Does this car have a abs delete?
No
SICK! Just sent DM on insta
Stock ecu?
No bro Haltech
I would run na before putting an eBay turbo on my IS300 🤮
