We’re not saying that the Hoonigan 8-Ball has magical powers, but the Hoonigan 8-Ball might have magical powers. Or it might be the fact that racecars are always gonna racecar at one point or another. Either way you slice it though, these are two very, very different takes on what a work vehicle should be. Ken Gushi’s sequential swapped IS300 is the greatest commuter we’ve seen for the job of “professional drift driver”, while Glen Dederick’s take on a blue collar work truck was more than enough to make its way onto a Build Biology episode once upon a time. Who will take it on the no prep tarmac airstrip?

yea, he should come back again after a real tune on the dyno. Looked waays to slow and sounded like it was missing one or two cylinders and about 250hp
@@jvsyoutube3298 if it's the ignition box going out they just need to replace it. The efi he put on is supposed to be a plug and play self learning system if I'm not mistaken.

the IS and GS share same suspension design and wheel base isnt far off so he should be able to jump in it and drift it fine like his gs

When he was doing donuts it sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders AKA most C10's seen in the wild. A 383 SBC stroker with EFI is one of the easiest things to tune ever. Pretty much every dyno shop in North America has a base tune and could load it in minutes that would work better then the crap tune he had in it. Shame.

He commented elsewhere that he accidentally put leaded race gas in it and fried the O2 sensor
@@Chris-pt6hh That's a $60 and 10 minute fix initially vs running it like that and the cost adds up per mile not to mention the money he lost in the race. Ouch. That was a stupid mistake.

The "Coming Soon" clip with the C8 and the 2 Stroke Quad got misplaced at the end, I guess. Good video though. I liked that IS300 more than I tought I would. Shame the C10 wasn't at 100%, but props to the guy for keeping his word and paying the bet.
Always jump on these videos best hoonigan content and by far my favorite series since the original content.
It's like if Daily transmission took place at a drag strip. Now they just need a place to do some drift runs and we good.

If the truck fixed the massive exhaust leak the EFI might work correctly and it would have been a better race. Probably would have still lost but....
that leak was from the new starter we had to put on there at the track. hit a huge mud puddle driving in, and stuck a rock in the mini starter.... all we could find close by was a stock one, and the headers hit it and wouldnt bolt up tight....
