- Hi Friends,
Two pink boards.. became two little paintings this week. Happy to have them arrive in time for another art show due date.
They're inspired by Matisse and also previous works I've painted as well... referring back to work I've done before is a great way to take the pressure off and not try and reinvent the wheel in a short time line.
Observing the design and value... 'less is more'.. nope.. 'more is also more' hahaha... not going for minimalism this week.

Such a helpful message for me. I get stuck and freeze and so do nothing! I have been thinking about 'just showing up' and 'letting go and letting God' and being still and 'listening' and your message came and backed that right up!!! Thank you for helping to teach me to be more free.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate what you share... the painting process as well as your feelings! I've been doing a bit of binge watching, catching up with all that I've missed throughout the years. So much I relate to and experience and have similar feelings and thoughts as you do. Feels cheeky putting Matisse's IN my Matisse inspirations... but it feels like I am honouring and celebrating his work while I keep learning to do mine... and he was also inspired by many other artists. I sold 8 at the Brisbane Aff Art Fair, so that was SUPER helpful. :) 💚

I love your dog, how precious! Im so stuck right now with my paintings. I would love to hear more about your conscious marketing? it was hard to hear what you were saying about that... not sure if it was my laptop volume but there were times, I could not understand what you were saying because I couldn't hear clearly..anyhow, .Ive been struggling on what direction to go with my passion. Thanks for the share and look forward to seeing what comes next
hi Gwen... ahh. thanks so much for pointing that out... I'm not doing well with the audio .... i have to give myself some time to learn how to use those dang Rode mic things.... and I might make a chat one about that marketing thing... it's still not fully landing for me... I probably have to rewatch the course to be honest. It's very much about permission giving ... understanding that if you have a gift to share.. 'marketing' is simply sharing it really... and receiving payment actually helps us to keep doing what we're here to do without being so stressed about it. (easier said than lived oftentimes tho) x
