Here's more chatting about my Patreon idea.. and the inspiration that bubbled up to the surface was that of a beautiful tea house.
Beauty, light, inspiration and nurturing time to fill your cup.

I love the idea of the Tea House. Personally I am very much at peace with my own solitude and being my own best friend. Alone is not a lonely thing for me at all.

Dear Denise I loved this unfolding of your thoughts and ideas around the patreon and think that the Tea House concept, a place to fill your cup, is simply superb and speaks to something you love and treasure - the ritual of taking time out to make and enjoy the tea that comforts, nurtures and uplifts you. What a truly wonderful idea. Just love it!!! Perhaps you have been a Tea Master in another lifetime and it remains close to your heart. The cafe,studio,florist shop idea just made my eyes light up. Was saying Yes,Yes,Yes!!!! Do it, do it. Then had to remind myself that you can't hear me.🤣🤣 Honestly, your creative juices are just flowing and I loved the journal spread that brought to life the concept. So lovely. And well.....as for awake at 4 in the morning, I am the same. Except it's between 3 and 3.30 for me. Sometimes I eat a little something, and have a cuppa and this settles me back down or I put on a sleep story which sends me back to lala land. It's so lovely having someone read a story to you. Like being a child again at bedtime. Anyway I could probably chat forever, but I feel the need for a cup of tea!!! Thanks for the wonderfully inspiring video!🥰🥰

It was so encouraging and uplifting for me to feel the resonance and connection in your words. (Especially as I'd had so much doubt pour into my mind last evening... it's like that... big burst of YES, and JOY... then.. uh oh.. is this sustainable?? etc etc... )
I LOVE the sound of sleep stories.. being read to.. I have a dear friend who listens to sleep stories too.

Well, Denise, so much in this video. A 'place to fill my cup', sounds like a great place to go, for like minded community, inspiration, encouragement, fun; all nurturing an artistic life. Wonderful. And topped off by vision of a tea house. Excellent! A couple of months ago I bought matcha tea and the pieces to go with it, and invited my grandboys, 6 and 9, to tea. They loved the novelty of the special tea making, and while they didn't love the taste, they drank the tea nevertheless and we laughed a lot. My family drinking tea together is part of my earliest memories. And in ongoing, has continued throughout my life with family, friends, and many people in different situations, to be a gentle underpinning activity, to refresh, welcome, console, celebrate, uplift, farewell, and generally enjoy. So a patreon tea house sounds great. And as for joining you at your table for tea, I would love to do that. All thanks and every best wish to you. P.S. grey hair is great!

I love that you made matcha with your grand boys, that is so very special indeed.
(whispering... I must admit... I found the taste of matcha tea a bit too grassy for me) but I was delighted with the ceremony... and recall being told that "We pick the leaves in May and let them sleep until November" isn't that a lovely way of putting it.

eeeee... grey streaks might get be started.. will find out tomorrow how brave I'm willing to be on that. ha.

I'm loving everything that you are sharing today, Denise. Tea houses, journals as vision boards, creating a space with beauty to bring other artists together. I would certainly love to join you if I only lived nearby. And, of course, creating places of comfort and solace in your own home. I live in a two-room home so I pretty much have to create that beauty in every nook and cranny so that I feel like I'm in a very special place no matter which room I'm residing in!😂 I love turning on videos like yours when i want some intelligent, creative company. I live alone, so for me this is very important. As a fellow artist and Virgo, I cherish my alone time, however I occasionally jump into my extrovert-side and need people!😂 So, your idea of creating that for your patrons is lovely! Sending much Aloha across the big pond!🌺🌈🙋♀️p.s. Aura is such a peach! Adorable🫠 p.s.s. Im a natural blonde, but got darker in my 50 and 60s. When the pandemic hit, I had to stop getting those lovely highlights. ☹️ My silver showed up, which then became the highlights. To sum it up, I would love to be lighter (with the dyed highlights) but decided to stop the constant chemical barrage to my scalp and the painfully high cost. In the end what I learned is that people love me just the same, either way!😂 It then truly became about accepting and loving myself!😍

OMG I just love hearing from other Virgo's... hehe I was a natural dark blonde in my teens.. then things darkened over the years... I'm very grateful to have found a not obscenely expensive hair dresser... which makes it possible to consider doing something sort of 6 weekly... but like you, I am not pleased about the barage of chemicals on my scalp and system. ... Funny thing is... next week when I record another video... it'll look however it looks after this weeks appointment... I'm not sure which way I'm going.. will find out about the UPKEEP... before committing. lol
YES to accepting and loving ourselves, no matter what. xx

Hi Denise! I must share, I have needed to watch this one twice over, as I have so much resonance with it! I love the container of a Tea House and the scrap book that holds your visions. I love the spreads and I love getting to what you love, what you are passionate about and what brings you joy! I really believe that when you align yourself with your truth, the passion that reverberates from this, will bring your true tribe to you.
Yes, we can relate life to tea, it’s integral. I collect vintage trios. I love the idea that many people have used these before me, to gather, to celebrate, to share, to morn, to remember… these special moments in life and the everyday… it’s connection to self and to others. You had me the moment I saw “creativitea” all those years ago.
Your spread in the vision book, it is one I could have made myself I love it so much! Beauty, opulence, COLOUR, joy, fashion, elegance, flowers… oh the artwork spreads!!!
The idea of the spread of small artwork… I love this and do it at home (not as successfully as I’d like lol) I will send a pic ;) I even have a little elephant haha!

Oh how I love your joy and excitement, it makes me so excited!! I am so in!! oh how I wished I lived close. Your vision is so very much like mine, it blows my mind!!! The tea ceremony is a step up, and your energy is so beautiful, it would be lovely to take part in taking that time out to be really present in community and fill our cups.

PS grey… can I just say, my paternal Grandma and maternal Granddad both had the most beautiful silver-grey halo head of hair, and I always used to take comfort in the fact that one day I would too, I want to age gracefully, it’s a privilege to live a long healthy life. Much to my disappointment, I have not gone very grey, and my hairdresser says I will never be silver grey… so I would love to see you transition and become the beautiful silver haloed goddess I know you will be. Thanks for all your precious sharing

As to grey... yes... I really love it on many people... but after a chat with my hairdresser.. we'll ease into it gently.. and for now I'm not finished enjoying the blonde highlights. I have an idea that once I go silver I'll not want to turn back... and since I many live some decades ahead... ha excuse the pun... I may as well enjoy this stage for as long as that feels like 'me'. love Denise xxx
