Please do more of these. Yahoo Answers should provide enough material for a million videos.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE MORE OF THESE. I like the "my dog never goes out side so he cant get heart worm" .... I guess you have a mosquito proof house. "I watch my dog when he goes out side so there is no chance of him getting lepto from another animal" I guess the raccoons only pee in your neighbors yard.
Oh my god... this lady at the vet office I work at told me that she once had someone refuse to buy Hartgard because she was in a gated community... I thought she was kidding!
I sure hope that the people who wrote those letters do not have any pets or children.
why did it stop here? keep it going! this video should of been longer
When I was 4 my family had a dog named Lucky who I loved. She got mange and my great uncle washed her in motor oil and she died. So yeah, don't do that.
R.I.P. Lucky. 🙁
You come from an intelligent family
"Feed your dog raw hamburger and tabasco sauce to treat worms". Do people have any idea how many different types of parasites you can get from raw beef?
I know, right? Like, that sounds more like a way to put some kind of worm into your dog, not to take worms out. But some people are stupid.
Garlic and onions are very bad for your pets. Sickness and death can occur. They should have stressed that as well.
That first one about the gated community literally made me laugh. Because of course, as soon as the heartworms and fleas see the gates of the dog's neighborhood they're all like "Whoops, wrong dog! Sorry buddy, we didn't know you lived in a secure, gated area. We'll just go...now...."
Yeah, I think people get some strange ideas about parasites sometimes. I think the gated community myth might be a mix of a whole bunch of strange ideas, actually, like about what parasites are attracted to, who lives where, what certain things supposedly imply, etc.
The hamburger and hot sauce mad my jaw drop... Hahaha.
So did the motor oil comment.... Oh my god...
I have never had a dog have puppies before. We have always gotten them fixed once they were of age. What the hell do they mean by "it's the only way to calm her down"?
emichelle19 It’s an old misogynistic viewpoint that a female will be “complete” or settled once she has a child and fulfill her maternal duty. For some reason that has transferred over to the vet world where people believe their dog will be “calm” (which is strange, as you pointed out that a spayed dog can be just as calm).
Our dog is kept up on everything and has a file larger than my medical file because we had to take her hips out at six and nine months of age. This video shows some of the annoying things in life because of irresponsible pet owners. Oh, she's happy and healthy and just turned eleven years old.
WE NEED "MORE" OF THESE EDUCATIONAL SIGHTS .., VET'S COMMENTS> THIS WAS INTERESTING.., & VERY EDUCATIONAL!!! THANKS FOR SHARING!!!
Everybody knows that you bathe your pets in "burnt oil" to treat mange...DUH!
The oil has to have been used (ie "burnt") to work.
Note: the above was sarcasm. Sadly, I have lost count of the number of times I've heard using motor oil in some form to treat mange.
This is what I was scrolling through looking for! 🤣
I couldn't make it to the end of the video I had no idea people thought these things I'm crying
One of my favorite things ever.
I want a part 4
This is hilarious. Thank you for a good laugh. I needed it today.
lol I save my limes for my tequila
Sooooo good!
I didn't think animals COULD get Lyme disease. It came from people in the mid 70's and I didn't think it had an airborne vector.
The vet reFUSED to tell me which diseases pets could transfer to people and vice versa. He obviously didn't understand what I was asking and when I asked again, he pointed me to the same information he'd already given me. I wanted to know if when I have a cold, could it transfer to my kitty or could her cold transfer to me. I had a really bad cold and I didn't want her to get it.
Vicki Bee Your vet just couldn't believe you were being serious and was dumbstruck.
While there are diseases that are transferred between species the common cold isn't one of them.
Also, Dr. Roark, call me.
" i dont think that word means what u THINKS it means "
this is just proff that we need tighter check for pet guardians
I've had a pet shop tell me the garlic thing. I still buy flea drops and I save the garlic for my food
Yeah, not to mention, dogs and cats should NEVER eat garlic or onions, as it can cause them to become very ill and it could even kill them.
We need a large animal version!
YES!
The motor oil one reminded me that you can use gasoline to turn your cat into a dog. Douse the cat with gasoline, strike a match and *woof*.
Do I really need to tell anyone _not_ to try that? Probably.
what is with the audio in this video? Its extremely faint and its not my computer because I can hear any other video just fine.
These are great I love the oil one.....lol
This is hilarious!
Some people shouldn’t be aloud to have pets
omg what is wrong with people??
lmao
motor oil
Very good laugh
Public service announcements for the hub cap collectors out there😜
Gated communities don't even keep unauthorized personnel out, what makes you think it's going to keep bugs out? Do these people think a mosquito is going to see the gate and be like "oh shit guys, there's a gate. Better go somewhere else."
Garlic can kill your dog
People r so so stupid.
You're reading from Karen Becker's twitter account aren't you?
only in america
+burnzy3210 Trust me, bad advice when it comes to animals is world wide.
i'm sure 99% of this is from howcast
bacon grease on wounds is a popular one in my area....
