100k is low mileage, it's not even fully broken in yet. If it's maintained regularly it's doing 300k-400k easily. I don't know why Americans think 100k is high mileage, but with the wasteful culture of not taking care of cars at all and just leasing them without maintenance and then throwing them away for someone else to buy and not take care of them further, until something finally breaks that wouldn't break to begin with if the car was serviced regularly, I understand why their cars break down way more often than in the rest of the world. But 100k is definitely not high, a properly maintained one (and by that I mean just servicing it as the manufacturer recommends with original parts and fluids, not cheap replacements) will drive and feel like a brand new car at 100k, in fact, even at 200k.
@@derbigpr500 100k isn’t high enough for me to warrant getting rid of my car (as I’ve got 3 BMW’s with 100k+ right now), but it’s high enough to not want to pay $20,000 for a car. I would buy this car with the intent of modifying it & tuning it for higher power, and 4 owners in 100k amongst other things makes me suspicious of the cars condition & maintenance, especially combined with a cat-delete without a tune, another great indicator of poor maintenance. The issue isn’t owning a performance car at 100k miles…it’s buying one at 100k. Happy to keep it until 200k+!
Can't agree more. I lived in Germany for 3 years and they took care of their cars much better than Americans. It could be a basic BMW or Audi or a higher end one...they were well taken care of inside and out. I think a lot of European reliability issues from the US is due to poor ownership care and maintenance.
On deployments in Afghanistan I would see them literally rebuild completely broken parts on old ealry 90's Toyota 4x4's, install it, and keep it moving like nothing. Here in the US when the navigation gets old folks think it's time for a completely new car. You see how quickly folks threw away a 2 year old iPhone, pay $1,500 for a new one, and the only thing that changed is the color option and camera🤡 America is the land of waste all to not be the last to have the newest thing that'll be old in 6 months. I have a '23 M240i and the stock B58TU pulls hard! It's a great engine and is probably making a bit more than the advertised 382hp. Definitely a future classic.

Could be the mppsk package. They have like 360 whp

from the exhaust tips alone, it was mppsk or even an mpe exhaust. that was a bone standard m sport pack car
Def not MPPSK, the exhaust tips give it away.
