Nice to see a detailer working on cars that are actually dirty. Im in northern Alberta and when i wash my vehicles they can look like this before i even get them back home. I gotta say you are really ambitious foaming that down with an ik pro2. You should REALLY check out lafferty foamers. Swing a valve on your pressure washer and you are making shaving cream. Adjustable dilution. Once you have tried one you wonder why detailers all over the world mess around with little pressure washer foamers...
Ill check lafferty out, I have a MTM foam cannon but for these situation since I wanted really hot water thats the only reason i used a Small IK, i have the air valve on it as well but like I mentioned it's not made for whole vehicles. Cheers and I appreciate you commenting.
I know that's an older comment but guys if you have a smaller ik foam pro2+ with the valve just buy some cheap automated tire pumper (for example xiaomi 1s) and attach it (by mountain rubber thingys or just velcro belt) to the ik foamer - it has auto pressure (will keep your pressure stable at 40psi or whatever you want) and BAM - you have a mobile easy to use and constant foamer, I use it on the wheels and sometimes on the car I don't bust the pressure washer! Cheers!
Thank you so much for this! I was looking everywhere for the correct dilution and tested it using 1:50 on my foam cannon and felt underwhelmed. It’s probably because of what you said that it gets diluted more. Also, can you let us know what is the tip color you’re using for your IK foam Sprayer 2? Maybe next time you could also pressure wash 1 panel with product and 1 panel without product to see how easy it is to remove traffic film/dirt. What a great video!
Great idea, I'll test it out but I already know the answer :) that would make a great test thanks. Ik foamer i'm using the stock tip that that comes installed middle of the road one. Cheers my friend.
Outstanding presentation. The narrative alone could be used to teach a class. Videos of this quality are what I look for. I'm subscribing right now. Thanks again for all the work and preparation you put in making this video.
Great video demonstrating one of the very best pre-wash foaming shampoos. SuperFoam is a “must have” product for any detailer located in an area where it snows in the winter. Will not stain or damage exterior plastics or metal trim. I live near a ski resort and cars come in with brine and snow slush dried on the paint for a month or more. Time to put away the Rinseless Wash and bring out the SuperFoam.
nothing can beat koch chemie. they are on the market since 1968. and most car manufacturers uses their products over others. i think even weaker koch chemie Af is better than bilt hamber. and it smells better than anything. bilt hamber is just hyped crap.
@@benreeve9130 I’ve found Auto Foam is the better cleaner and degreaser using both of them. Even BH state that Auto Foam may be better in certain scenarios, but both fantastic products if you want a snow foam that actually cleans
@@Detailing_Dogma Thanks, Frank! I wasn't familiar with Bilt Hamber V2, but I found a video by Pan and another one by Eddie Colon with tests of that product. Pan had some Canadian winter snow, etc. on his car, although not nearly as much as your BMW. I live in Connecticut, so I understand what a car can look like after snow, slush, and salt is all over it. I just purchased two 1-liter bottles from Obsessed Garage. A 5-liter container is way too much for my needs and it takes up too much room on my shelves. Thanks again!!
Depends how you dilute green star but at 1:10 it's more aggressive than SF but remember it'll slowly get to your wax and sealant too, plus GS doesnt foam like SF does. I believe in using dedicated product for specific task. Cheers.
I have not tried it yet, usually I'd use carpro hy2dro2 and Gyeon Wetcoat in this category, cheers brother hope you like PW, let me know how it is for you.

Good question! Thanks to you too John, I'm out of CARPRO Lift at the moment to make a fair comparison side by side but I haven't seen this type of cleaning with it. Lift is more geared towards ceramic coated cars and the coating integrity, Superfoam is more potent IMO, pair it with hot water it's the best I've tried, next step would be an APC or something degreaser type. Talk soon.
Is it safe to use this product on car ones a week. I like to keep my car clean. I don’t have ceramic coating but I do use gyeon wet coat. If I have to I will apply wet coat after every wash.
I used it almost weekly or bi weekly for more than a year, haven't had any issue. Once diluted with water through the foam cannon the PH goes down quite a bit i'm assuming. It's VDA certified to the highest standard which means it wont damage modern cars material! cheers
Active foam is not as powerful to put it simply, it's also made to used in a bucket for hand wash, I wasnt a fan of the scent, its overpowered. I'd go with Superfoam, ive been using it for 2 years it's good and safe.

Hey man the product used in this video is Superfoam (PH12), Active foam(PH9.5) or AF is a different soap from KCX. Superfoam is a dedicated pre-wash foam not to be used in bucket. AF is more versatile product, can be used for hand washing or pre-wash but not as effective to remove dirt compared to SF. Hope that helps cheers.
Thanks for the feedback, understand your concern but actually when diluted in the foam cannon it's not that harsh on a coating, those are just myths in the detailing world unfortunately. it's not like spraying an APC on it. You can always re apply toppers and recoat periodically, cars usually need a polish as well. Cheers
I can see Detailing Dogma has already replied, but I'll echo it. All vehicles need a proper pre-wash product to remove as much dirt and contaminants as possible prior to the contact wash.
