    I use the turtle wax products and they hold their own in the Florida climate. To be fair most of the elements wont be as harsh as some of the things you sprayed on the hood. Not to discount the Koch-Chemi products ( they are awesome) but Turtle wax is a very good product for their price point. Love your demeanor and attitude and the videos are awesome! Keep them coming and hang loose!!

    Turtle wax looked more hydrophobic during the Carpro reset washes, and I’ve found while it doesn’t last absolutely ages, it’s one of the best looking spray sealants I’ve used.
    The thickness also acts a bit like a glaze, so if you’ve got scratches you’re scared to keep working on, this helps hide them.
    But I don’t buy it anymore simply because of the price.

    Thanks for the very thorough testing. You can’t use the Koch Chemie on a wet car, so you’re less likely to top it up. I find Flex Wax is much more practical. After the initial dry application, you can use it as a drying aid or a spray on/rinse off wax every now and then, and it revives itself. The ease of maintenance of Flex Wax will provide better protection over time.

    I have no horse in this race either way, but I will note that (in my experience at least) graphene products tend to do much better with chemical resistance the longer they’re left to cure. I typically treat them like coatings and avoid any chemicals for the first 7-10 days, but that’s just what I’ve found works for me. That said though, there’s no question KCx makes stellar products-but you certainly do pay for it.
    Regardless, really appreciate your videos, man!

      @equestrianwhisky Год назад +1

      @@96spectyper I don’t believe the Koch Chemie has any graphene in it, just SiO2. Graphene does help with resisting water spots to a degree, but it won’t prevent them entirely. If you get to them soon enough, I’ve found spots are generally a little bit easier to remove on a graphene coated surface, but again, only if you get to it quickly.

    I am interested in that Optimum Hyper Seal. I have been on the fence about buying that one but I know years ago I really liked Opti-Seal as a quick sealant after a wash. Not long lasting but the ease of use was fantastic and it had acceptable performance. Opti-Seal really was an innovative product when it was first released. There had never been a spray sealant that worked like that up to that point, probably 20 to 25 years ago. I'd be interested to see how that Hyper Seal does compared to Opti-Seal. Namely, is it essentially a repackaged Opti-Seal with a few more drops of whatever made Opti-Seal work, probably some type of polymer sealant rather than Si02 but who knows? They say they put more of what makes Opti-Seal work into it? Who knows. Marketing can make a product seem like it's the best out there when actually it's the exact same product in a new bottle with a new name, rebranded as "new and improved".

    Man... how they screwed up the formula. OG seal & shine was way better. Chemical resistant and slickness was top notch. Thank you for showing us how crappy it is now

      Their ceramic spray (hybrid solutions line) is better than their flex wax too.

    Put that Koch Chemie up against TW Ice Seal N Shine. Why TW would have went away from SnS is baffling. Wasn't the best in gloss, but protection was insane.

    Can you find some thing equivalent to Gyeon wet coat and battle them. I like wet coat a lot. But I also know there is something better, I’m sure.
    Thank you!

    sooo...i have a question...i never used anything from Koch Chemie,i used something from Labocosmetica
    my question is...if i buy this,i just have to dry the car and apply the soo2?
    I'm asking because with labocosmetica, there were 3 products for the same effect

    I have a BMW black carbon and I use turtle, with a dry car it's hard to do a good job... with a wet car it's easier to apply and it does a great job...

    No doubt that koch Chemie makes some good products(only familiar with their polishes). How do they 2 compare in price, and versatility? Can you use both wet, drying aide etc?? I personally consider TW Flex better used as a topper over max wax than a standard alone. My personal opinion.. Does anyone know how flex wax compares vs the old school TW seal n shine? For the price TW seal n shine doesn't hurt the pockets when I use on rims. Great comparison showing what koch can do.. koch looks like a good product.. Thanks for the video, greatly appreciated!
