Well, here we go again with one of my favorite dishes. As a Portuguese dish, I added all the good things that they like, to give out the right flavors to make this outstanding.

Nice looking bread. It seems insignificant but as a Portuguese I value the bread alot. A good bread for the sauce is always important. Great recipe but it must be with a green or white wine or a lager 🍺. Thumb's up for you.
Why are the mussels already opened? Meaning they were streamed and are cooked!

Where do I get these? Yum and Piri Piri sauce, so flavorable. Right out of Portugal. My grandmother from the Azores islands, came here in 1912, use to gather huge sea snails from the sea, and they loved them. Probably cooked them this way. Maybe the people there still do?

Yes very nice Portuguese store, now online, with 52 real imported items from Portugal, and bakery items made fresh by the family. But no mussels. There is an Asian store, but I have never seen these huge mussels there. They do have a large variety of sea food.
You know, the ones above were frozen, for here in this Country in Poland where I am doing some Business is hard to find fresh. They do have it fresh, but you do not see it all the time...
Sea snails is wonderful. As a Portuguese I eat it all the time specially in the summer with a cold green wine...... Just to make you a bit jealous....:)

I found them in the European store called Biedronka grocery store. This store is owned by some Portuguese business, so there is always some seafood there.

Yes, these were and they were frozen. Sometimes I like to have certain foods on hand.
