- Behold! The definitive guide to all the Microsoft and Office 365 apps and when you should use which. Or, at least, a very beginner’s intro to each one, in an effort to keep this video short-ish. In this video, you’ll learn the difference between Teams and Yammer, why Power Apps might be a better choice than Access, how SharePoint and OneDrive differ, and why all the tasks apps aren’t necessarily built for the same… task. We’ll also clarify a bit of the Microsoft 365 and Office 365 naming and licensing confusion. But this is NOT a licensing overview!

IT guy in my office is not even an IT graduate
I wish my IT Dept. gave us half the info you did in 26 min. We are sitting on a mother load of untouched efficiencies!
This video was perfect! In my last job, I used Google Office and many supplementary apps. Switching to Microsoft Office 365 at my new job has been incredibly confusing. The visuals, overview, and simplicity of this video were EXACTLY what I was looking for. I feel 100% better moving into my work now! Thank you so much!
Wow! Exactly what I’ve been scouring the internet for a whole month simplified in this one video. Thank you.
I don’t understand why IT departments don’t do lunch and learns or provide their organization with any of this type of information. It’s SO useful!
I learned more in this video than I have in hours of individual research.
Thats how you know its worth watching a youtuber
Thank You Matt This is very helpful to build awareness of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Excellent job of short descriptions. Thanks.
Yes, I knew about many of the tools, but I was quite surprised at the amount. There were numerous tools I had heard the name, but knew nothing about. This video is eye opening. As you stated, "before looking to third party apps look into Microsoft ecosystem", absolutely will. Thank you.
I really never ever put any comments on youtube videos, but I really wanted to thank for such an amazing explanation, I wish i can do anything to show my appreciatio for your time and effort, and for having such an mazing educational video
Thank you for this video. Very helpful and well presented. Great work.
It's tough to figure out which MS 'tools' to use for evertyday working so your video today has been helpful, even though it fels like I'm nit much further forward. I am leaning towards Outlook (of course) but using it more in depth than just appointments, & calendar. To Do, but when do you use that and not tasks on Outlook. One Drive. One Note. Teams. I'm hoping those will cover everyting, just what to use for what is not obvious. I guess you have to set out your own rules. Would be good to see how other people work ad what they use and why.
Love your periodic table
Great video. I am from Germany and struggled to find an explanation video in my language. You've explained very good and I could easily follow it. Also you invested the right amount of time in the presentation of the single apps. I liked your personal recommendations too. I always asked what Access does that no app could do the same way.
Danke! Glad you found it useful. 🙂
Informative, quick and easy to follow - thank you.

Those graphic illustrations at 16:00 when explaining Yammer look so good, which software did you use? I'm a new entrepreneur and just getting to know this stuff for my presentations.
Do you do one-on-one coaching or provide professional services for O365 tools?
This is a really apt explanation, Now I understand why Microsoft is a leader in enterprise software.
Which App works best for route sales productivity & monitoring?
I’m looking for someting to replace Mailchimp? Does Microsoft 365 have something for sending newletters?
very very gooood, thaaankss maan✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Awesome video! I know it probably takes a lot of time but whereas Microsoft is frequently changing up what's available in 365 and what they're calling different apps and services, it would be great to see a video like this a couple times a year. Thanks for posting.
Awesome video but almost 2 years since posted, an update would be great!🙂

A Dropbox subscription cost you 11.99€ a month. 2TB. 365 is 6.99$ for 1TB. And then you get all the apps pretty much as a nice bonus.
Really, it's a no-brainer if you need online storage.
Thanks

Hey Matt, I see a poster behind you (directly to the right of Pawnee NP) with tile that I believe represent MS apps or tools. Is this something that can be shared?

When you use office 365 mac you miss the access etc. Is it possible under the license to also load with the PC side of Mac woth Office 365 to use Access?
Access and Publisher will likely never be accessible on the Mac.
