Last time I was vaguely current with Microsoft productivity software was probably back in the mid-90's. You just just put me in a rocket sled and moved my sense of software intentions and productivity possibilities forward almost 30 years. The trick now will be to port all our kludged-together intellectual property stored and categorized in files and Outlook objects into the modern world you describe clearly. Thank you Kevin, for a sound point of beginning.

Johnny! Plz don't play games 24/7😁😂. Explanation, it's just sensational. The family Safety App looks pretty fun and it's great to have an app for safety as well. Microsoft Apps are just underrated comparing it to Google Apps. I guess this is a sign of Kevin coming back to post 3 or 4 vids every week 🙌👏
Love the video and the timestamps in the description make a great reference. As a Win11 user I've got Excel, Word and Access parked on the taskbar so I can quickly open those apps with my most often used files (In Win10 that could be done from the Start Menu). Right-clicking the app brings up a list of recent files that you can pin to the list so they're always on tap. Well done on a well thought out presentation 👍

Thank you for the video, Kevin. I am wondering the logic behind not allowing end users to customize app tiles in the new Windows 11 Office setup in the web browser. I've reached out to Microsoft about not being able to pin apps to the side bar in the web browser, but there's been no response as of now. I would like to be able to pin SharePoint and OneDrive to the side bar, but Microsoft seems to believe that I would rather use Forms and Sway. What's up with that? Please respond if you have the time, captain.
Could you tell me more about where you want to customize app tiles? Is that in the app launcher on office.com or on the new tab page in Edge? I remember on office.com and in the Microsoft 365 app launcher, there used to be app pin functionality, but it turned out very few users used it. We switched to a recent app model where you would see recent apps that you've used and it would also factor in how much you've used the apps (so one click on Sway wouldn't pollute the listing). If you don't use an app for some time, it would drop off. As long as you're using the various apps, you should see them on the side bar, which should make it easy to get back to your most important apps. Not sure who oversees the team these days for feedback... there's a feedback button on office.com, but it sees a high volume of feedback.

I have probably paid twice or three times more than $99 yearly subscription. There no phones any more to call more are the chats. I don't know what I should do. All my files are either Word or Excel.
