I’m currently going the holistic route. Been on adhd and anti depressant meds since I was 5 years old. Been taking them for about 15+ years until I transitioned to natural remedies (nootropics). It’s all about finding what works for you. Of course talk to your physician, but it’s definitely worth a try. Great video please post more! We don’t have enough black people talking about chemical imbalances of the brain and our daily struggles.

I don't know why some doctors insist on going this route. I was always so cloudy and out of it when I was on both. Will never do that again! And I just uploaded a new video yesterday. How are you doing now? I was diagnosed as an adult but when it comes to meds I'm a difficult case. I'm blessed to have 2 rare heart problems on top of ADHD. All the nonstimulant meds were contraindicated for my conditions, amphetamine meds I can't take because they have a major interactiom with my other meds, so docs put me on Ritalin. Honestly I'm scared to take it at this point because it shoots my heart rate up to 105-120 on average. You mentioned having a high heart rate on the meds, was that always a problem when you were taking them? Hope you are doing well now!
Yes, it was a constant issue. That is one of the reasons I left stimulants behind. Resting heart rate was 100 at all times. Not fun. Not certain if that is the same for everyone who takes stimulants for their ADHD, but it was for me. Thank you for your concern and for watching!
