@@somacruz7759 Contra in general has creepy gross bosses, we fighting aliens, robots, mutations, and more. Sure shattered solider is a on steroids version of it which is great.

I'm 50 now and i remember beating the first game on the NES when i was a kid with one man, can't wait to play this version.
Childhood memories unlocked. The music at the beginning 0:18 literally gave me goosebumps. Nostalgia at it’s finest! Can’t wait.

The second I saw Wayforward all my anxiety melted away. Contra 4 on the ds is one of the best in the series. Glad to see them back.

After the terrible Rogue Corps, seeing this new Contra is great. The gameplay looks awesome. Can't wait for this game!

@@thelastdragon5551 , and the rest of you whiners, Rogue Corps was not as big of a dumpster fire as you all think that it is, and I can point out a LOT worse things that not only Konami has done, but other companies have done as well. Now with that being said, I WILL agree that this new Contra game will be on par with, if not exceed, what WayForward had accomplished with Contra 4 back around 2008 or so for the Nintendo DS, and that was a very solid entry in the series, so I am looking forward with Contra: Operation Galuda.

Since this is made by Wayforward, the game will be great. I am glad that they are doing a remake of part 1 rather than another sequel because Cpntra 4 was basically a Contra 1 and Operation C remake lol
I actually started playing the Contra series with Alien Wars then went back and played the first two, but Contra 3 was always my favourite. This trailer gave me chills of nostalgia! 😁

Super C was the first 8-bit game I played! Both NES games are among my all time favorites!

Wayforward's Contra 4 was a SPECTACULAR Contra game--best possible studio to handle a new entry in the series. HAS to be that classic gameplay and feel, and who better?

The explosions and sparks look really satisfying, nice!
Before I saw any video I was like, "please be Contra please be Contra" and for the first time since the 80s I was looking at a new actual Contra game. I'm kind of teary eyed.

Contra was the first game I got with my system back in '89 along with Zelda. It is always alot of fun to play.

@@thelastdragon5551 It would be nice but its probably the same reason why Nintendo put so few DS games on their Eshop on WiiU and none of them on the Switch. 2 screen + touch screen functionality. I'd love a DS castlevania collection but that touch screen/dual screen stuff is the hold up.
@@wullahblack6452 It’s not Nintendo. I’m putting that solely on Konami’s call. Unless Nintendo somehow negotiated way beforehand with Konami to save C4 for their future NSO DS line-up.
@@thelastdragon5551 For the reasons i mentioned above, I find it unlikely any DS stuff will show up on NSO. You could do it with the WiiU but the switch isn't set up for that unfortunately.
Honestly this looks really really good. Except the trees in the background but I can live with it as long as there is no lootboxes/gacha. Glad that Konami finally realized that Console/PC gaming is where they should be

I loved playing the original on my Nintendo back in the late 80s. I'll buy this for the Switch.

I guest this Contra is a reboot. Lance< Bills partner guy in red died in war. Lance somehow got resurrected and joined the Aliens. Bill had another partner female named Lucia. Who then betrayed him. His current partner is suppose to be samurai.
I'm not sure if this new Contra game follows the timeline of the older Contra games. This might be a reboot.
