Arkham Origins isn't even bad, it's actually pretty good. So why is it forgotten?
In my opinion it isn't even the worst in the franchise. It's right up there with the rest.
Now the only way to play it is if you have the Xbox 360 disc. Thankfully it's backwards compatible.
Or PC I'm guessing.
This is releasing in the perfect time of the year to play: Rainy, snowy and cold. All of these games catch this vibe, especially Arkham City since it´s taking place around christmas. I loved playing this game in winter when it´s cold outside lol.
I hope this game is actually ready to go and that this ain't rushed out to market for the holiday season.
The game doesn’t take place during winter the weather of the game is like that because of freeze.

The music, the art style, the story, etc. This series is so perfect. That clay face fight will always be remembered for me. Loved how unexpected he was.
The fact Arkham Knight still looks fantastic after all these years is a testament to the incredible amount of skill and love the developers put into the game.

@jorgem.9690 how so. Games are all from before switch launched. And there's way newer more strenuous games om switch that look and run great. Plus if they do it like borderlands om switch. City and asylum are going to be the PS3 versions upscaled and formatted for switch. And knight would be the PS4 version (best running and looking version) and given as said leaks for this came out years ago. They've had time to make it look and run good. Plus I have a lite. And outside of a few games all I have are ports. That look and run great.

The Batman Arkham Trilogy along with Origins are some of my all time favorite games,nailed the feeling of being Batman, the atmosphere, gameplay, story all top notch, Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill stole the show as Batman and Joker, it felt like reliving the animated series 🦇

The music from Arkham City is still amazing. I used to let the title theme play before I'd start a session of the game just to get that rush before diving in.

Batman: Arkham Trilogy will be my favorite version of the Batman. Arkham Asylum is very standard for all missions and combat, Arkham City has the best story plot with its climax, and Arkham Knight has wider open world with advanced technology and compatible to drive the Batmobile.
This makes me miss Kevin Conroy even more. He was my favorite batman because of this trilogy right here!
Three iconic games, iconic villains, amazing stories, and of course Kevin Conroy as Dark Knight and Mark Hamill as the Clown Prince of Crime...

You know I didn't expect to cry when Kevin passed but it honestly felt like losing someone I knew I mean nobody in history has been attached to a character as much as Kevin was to batman we grew up with him from Btas,movies and games he was batman period I will say this though im currently playing threw orgins and the VA is pretty great he sounds likes a younger version of Kevin I think he's the best bet for someone to continue the role

I have no idea how Arkham knight is gonna perform on this, but they got the Witcher 3 to run so maybe it won’t be so bad.
This all looks native. If Arkham Knight is playable that’ll be super impressive optimisation. I gotta get this
The Witcher 3 is basically a locked 30 asides from busy towns and the odd fights with multiple enemies on screen as proven by Digital Foundry.
Granted you’ll be fighting multiples of enemies on a regular basis in Arkham Knight, but I would still expect the frame dips to be negligible.
The way developers have been able to utilize the X1 is proof that it was/is a flexible chipset to work with. Not many people expected such big games to work on the system.
I trust them to deliver a competent experience.
@@cbgg1585 yeah, The Witcher was an incredibly good surprise. As was Dying Light. While I’ve never heard of the studio porting it I’m cautiously optimistic.
And hey, even if Knight turns out to be a mess at least City and Asylum are borderline impossible

Idk why, but I’m tearing up. Perhaps because they’re using the Arkham theme for nostalgia bait, and that probably makes me feel old, but also Kevin is gone now and having these games available for everyone now just feels so right.

Turn Me Up Games, really does deserve a lot more attention they did the It Takes Two port for Nintendo Switch as well and I believe that game has a very good one. No doubt you can see the graphical compromises required to get Arkham Knight on Switch but if it plays as well as it looks then it's absolutely one I think people will want to check out.
I personally wouldn't mind graphical compromises either. As long as it's not too drastic where it looks unacceptable, but considering the hype for these games, I don not believe they would let us down.
They also did Borderlands Legendary Collection and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 & 2 on Switch. All of which turned out to be very solid ports. I can’t wait to see their work on the Arkham Trilogy.

The Arkham Series is just like Marvel's Spider-Man: It makes you FEEL like the hero himself!
There's no "best or worst", they're all incredible games. Thankfully, I'm one of the few people who see it.
