I love Bea Arthur and I personally believe that Bea could never hate anyone. They may got on each other nerves on the set sometimes, but all four of them loved each other equally. Even her son Matthew Saks stated that Bea was friends with everybody on the set and all seven seasons Bea and Betty would eat lunch in the studio cafeteria. I choose not to believe in tabloid rumors or hearsay from people that were not on The Golden Girls set.

Kefou Kefak Bea said as much as she loved the show and hated leaving it but she wanted more free time to do her own projects. Committing to a regular seasonal show like Golden Girls is very time consuming. I mean they’re filming 7-8 months out of the year doesn’t leave much time for other projects.
Even if they fought, it's nobody's business but theirs.

I think it is quite a testament of just how iconic and appealing this show continues to be, when this video was originally published in 2009 and now, ten years later, people are _still_ watching and commenting. Long live the Golden Girls! ♥♥♥♥
I remember in the early 90s when it was being run weekdays in syndication... Just after it got canceled on NBC... I remember thinking... this is going to be another "I love lucy" show that never stops being aired... I just knew it was that good. I was right.

Dorothy's quote suggested Blanche, probably at her age, won't have much to offer to any stallion.
