Larry Allen, Pro Bowler from the Dallas Cowboys, did 43 at the NFL combine games back in 2005 (I think). He also bench pressed 700lbs raw in the weight room, which was witnessed by many of his teammates and I believe was captured on video. If you can hear the weight clanking at the top then it's a lock out. The air exhorting from your elbow and shoulder joints allow this to happen. He's using momentum from touching his chest and coming down equally as fast making it all one fluent motion. When you start to stop at the top it decreases the mobility from that momentum that you created. So when they're saying "lock it out" they're probably jealous or don't understand that this guy is doing it as fast as possible as efficiently as his body is capable of.

      @@Kizdo69 What's your opinion on which weight would be better used as a test for NFL players?

    • @Kizdo69
      @Kizdo69 5 лет назад +2

      @Kevin Mahaffey Well in my opinion they should have personalised weights. For some players 225 is probably not optimal and for others it might be the right amount. It depends on the individual player - their height, weight, build, position, athletic ability, strengths & weaknesses and their goals. However when they are off camera I doubt they all lift the same weight anyways

    • @DivineAtheistWannabe

      @Bruce Leroy Larry has said himself that he's natural
      Also, if you think he's on steroids, then you don't know anything about exercising and keeping healthy lifestyle
      People on steroids will grow their muscles big and watery and it is weaking.
      But if you are a natural then your muscle becomes strong and hard like Larry Wheels.
      So I think he is natural because he is so strong and not watery muscles. And he looks like a good man and honest. His glasses help for that too, you can tell he's a kind man. So can't be steroid user.
      I know a lot about steroid, so you don't want to argument against someone you cannot win against.
