Still going for it?
@@Bilbus7 Yes
@@noahbartron6382 Awesome. I wish you all the best.
You get it?
@@ranchero5595 In the process yeah
Great stuff, an interesting topic might be what the unprepared candidate looks like at indoc, and what the prepared candidate looks like.
Great stuff! Glad to see a community of interest growing here on your channel! Soon, it’ll be filled with all the viable info for those wanting to seek a PJ career. Can’t wait to see the tutorials and techniques of what’s required at indoc. Keep up the great work!
I quit at buddy breathing at CRO Phase 2. I couldn't get we a good breath and would just suck up water every time being harassed...I wasn't prepared for that and my legs were also not conditioned for all of the rucking, beat down by the grinder PT. Definitely, psyc'd myself out when I was choking on water. Practice as best you can for all events. I wasn't prepared and have regrets but everything worked out for the best in the end.
I'm training to be a pj, I'm pretty skinny but have good cardio and calisthenics, what are the best exercises you think I should do to prepare, thanks. I have 7months.
@@chrismac1507 I didn't make it but IMO follow a Navy SEAL prep guide. also, in Phase 2 we ran everywhere with heavy rucks. Get used to rucking/shuffling. Practice water confidence drills. Get your thigh, shoulders, and back muscles used to carrying a ton of extra weight. Find out what you're tested on and train for that to a T.
@@joesillamanrs7189 thank you dude, I really appreciate it
@@chrismac1507 Most importantly, don’t quit. You don’t want life of regret like I have. I’m trying to make up for it now in my mid 30s. Literally take the whole task hour by hour/day by day. You’re young, it’s the best time to take that type of physical punishment. You need to dig deep and have answers for you “why?” So when your demoralized and tired beyond measure you can push through the hell. Keep it simple and move forward
Can I ask what the maximum weight you rucked, the distance you travelled and the frequency of them!?
Watching Wil Willis do the Ranger Roll like 6 times in a row is beast! Love you guys. Major respect for PJ's. Be safe out there!
Ya, the more tips you can give the better. Awesome stuff man. I'd like more videos like this
Great video. It is so great how you take the time out of your busy schedule to help out possible future PJ’s. My son loves your website and videos. He is training hard before he even goes and takes his first PAST test.
Awesome comment, is he trying to go for PJ school right out of school? If he's still prepping tell him to listen to the Ones Ready RUclips channel. Brian and a couple other CCT/PJ guys do full length shows on their top selection tips and general advice in addition to daily life.
Thank you for doing this video and starting this new series. This will surely help people get closer to being physically and mentally fit along with I’m proving their techniques.
Improving**
I'm so glad I found this channel currently at home trying to prepare myself the most I can before I go talk to the recruiter for this amazing job
Me too!!
what about cct pipeline do u have a vid on that
So, a buddy breathing technique like...contact choreography? The logo reminds me of Starfox. Do you get to practice before that with Indoc?
While getting dunked and gator rolled, or other types of moderate harrasment, are you letting the cadre just do his thing until hes done, then trying to reset and continue? That's what you meant when you said don't worry about fighting with the instructor, right? Thanks!
Awsome stuff joining in 2 years
did you join?
update
Hear say nay say
I think a workout for people's health and for our future service members is a little different than just the average cheeseburger or groceries at the store!
So I tried to find your pushups standards / proper-form guidance from you website. I only found programs that are for purchase. Did I miss something? Or do we need to buy something to learn what the indoc/selection Push-ups standards are?
Hey,
Can you please make a video on the basic requirements of a CRO? I have found a few things but they all say different things.
Thanks.
I get out of the army next year and I was wondering if I can switch to AF to become a pj?
Yes, you can definitely switch over. I don't know the specifics on how but I have seen lots of guys come over from the Army. I would recommend hooking up with a USAF spec ops recruiter to get some more specific info on how to crossover.
Ins and Outs pushups payoff! My numbers for two minutes went up partially die to this habit.
Omg thank god i found this Channel❤️❤️, i wanna join USAF PJ even tho i’m a female i still believe i can do it no matter how hard it is
Same!
Women are not allowed to become PJ's
Good luck! Maybe we'll see each other on the other side lol
I am sorry but women do NOT have the same physical capability as a man so you can't be a pj
Push ups?! Oh wow wasn’t expecting that
Go to Meps Feb 8-9 and then I will be taking my PAST wish my luck
When are we gonna get new types of clothes on the website?
If they have drown proofing I’m gonna be stubborn and not quit even if I pass out.
Same, the worst that could happen is to pass out. And I mean if you do, you’re surrounded by the best of the best to save you.
Hi please we can be eliminated in pipeline PJ or not?
Serious question for you. I am currently Active Duty in the Marine Corps and thinking about trying to do PJ when I have about 6 months left on my contract. I am married. Since I wouldn’t have to go through BMT, how long would the pipeline be? Also, how is it being married and going through all the different training? Does your spouse get to see you at all throughout the pipeline?
Chris Riddle I can’t really answer the other questions, but the pipeline would be around 9 weeks less.
Hey Chris indoc being 9 weeks your wife can choose to move out to medina area with you but at your expense . After that when you make it to Kirtland AFB , she can have the airforce pay for her to move her there and she can stay there while you TDY to all your other training like sere and airborne
Wow I never would have guessed pushups. Is there anything worse than buddy breathing, drown proofing seems pretty scary, I guess you get used to having your arms and legs tied. What about tying knots underwater, how bad is that?
Knots is the water pressure and remaining calm . Buddy breathing is remaining calm and aiming to help your buddy breathe . Drown proofing is relaxing and sinking to the bottom and keeping a good pace as you dolphin kick from point A to point B.
I can think of a ton of tactics to keep the trainer away. Don't go into the pool to fret about breathing. GO into the pool with the intent to EMBARASS the trainer. DEFEAT your trainer. Leave him frustrated and angry
How about some video of the best practices you’re taking about?
I will be doing more in-depth videos on technique soon!
How To Be A PJ Sweet!
What's ins and outs?
Basically doing pushups or pull-ups everytime you enter (ins) or exit (outs) a building. Students do this when they enter and exit the schoolhouse at Indoc
Florida Georgia line - HOLY
Can you be a PJ off a 4 year contract?
No, it's a six year contact, huge enlistment bonus, alot invested in you and almost 2 years of training
In's and Out's? Enlighten me.
Arnt they getting rid of indoc and extending BA prep?
No BA Prep will remain the same . They are expanding class size from 100 to 150 . Also they are changing to a new Indoctrination course called AnS . 4 weeks long then you go to Indoc but it will not be the same as it is now . The intensity will be brought down and indoc will be shorter . AnS will combine PJ , CCT , and SOWT . After that they go their repected ways . This is the plan for the class after next.
when is this happening? ill be going into indoc after 2 years once they check my eyes.
@@Captain_Aarken Is this meant to make it more easy or more difficult? Like I know only 20% pass so would they be doing this to bring up those numbers?
Buddy Breathing and Ditch and Don
Or just Black Thursday’s lol
Oh my
Yo dudes... Check out Mike Maroney here on the tube as well. He provides a wealth of knowledge, much like Brian here, about succeeding throughout indoc, and has quite the archive of videos that would help to answer many of the common, and not so common, questions of the pararescue lifestyle - career. Relating to this video, a playlist of "how to" videos can be found on his channel showing proper form for many of the exercises practiced through indoc. Hope this helps.

Your workout programs seem interesting but.. Damn for $100 id rather just train alone. Thanks for the information though ill work on my weaknesses
so i’m only 14 (and a girl) and i wanna be a pj. i really wanna do this so do you have any tips?
Women are not allowed in PJ training.
They are allowed, 0 have made it to Indoc
good luck g
Hoping you take rejection well. You're better off going to ranger school because they also have water confidence training.
@@brianazmy3156 I hope that was intended as encouragement
So you charge to for the workout plan? Really? I'm a veteran for the Marine Corps and you have the audacity to charge money to people that are trying to serve our country!? REALLY?! WOW!
Did you serve our country or serve to get free workout plans ? the audacity of your entitlement
I got NO DOG in this fight I just have popcorn lmao
