      Well a lot of people probably use it for look. If youre using your car for high speeding racing (not that phoney straight line “racing”) these will be effective. You ever go fast on a corner in a more normal car and it pushes all the weight toward one side? Strut bars as well as performance sways bars will be the ones handling all of that force and even the car out so that your literally gliding on a turn going 60-70mph or even more when you should be going 30-40

    • @JCMediaYT
      @JCMediaYT  2 года назад +4

      @LT-jc4qb Год назад

      The debate of the century, but its hard to say 100%.
      You see solid bars on dedicated track vehicles where the roads are flat and smooth as glass. Look at Nascar and everything is solid because there's no real issues of uneven roads.
      Look at the modern wrc cars like subaru and they're running 3 pieces. Bottom line, the bars help keep the front chasis in line and tires planted on the road during turns. On the streets I would probably run and be very happy with 3pc...but people also like to believe hard-core solid is best..because hard-core.

    The joint in the STI strut bar is NOT to make it easier to install; it's to allow some flex that the engineers determined would be stiff enough but also flexible enough to allow some flexing, as no flex can lead to car hydroplaning and other problems that can lead to an destabilizing the car --> accident.
