- The easiest way to reverse angle park. This video demonstrates the procedure for right hand drive vehicles. If you are in a region that uses right hand drive vehicles, simply do the opposite. This is the first video for my "Like a Boss" life hack playlist where I plan to do a series of short videos to save you time, money, or simply give you an idea of a better way of doing something.

Super helpful! Now to practice and let it be instinctive.
Happy to help. Thanks for your comment 👍
Which way to indicate if this was on the road?
Not sure about your country, but you normally use the same side indicator as the parking area (left indicator in the case of this video)
Great video! what is the reference point for us to swing to the right before reversing back?
Thanks. Basically you are using your left back wheel as your reference point, as this is the pivot point of your car. (If driving a right hand drive vehicle as demonstrated in the video). Look out your left window or over your left shoulder and you are going to want to position it near the right front bumper of the parked car on your left. Try to get between half a metre to a metre away. Just remember to pay attention to any cars around you that may be leaving their park or coming up behind you. If you have somewhere not so busy to practice, you may find it easier until you get the feeling for it. If not don't stress, if you follow the video you will get the feel for it in no time.
Hope that answered your question. As you start swinging the front of the car to the right, look in your left mirror and keep a small gap between your left back wheel (or left of car) and the left line of your space. Once you start to straighten up look in your right mirror and try to keep the same gap on the right side of your car. Switch between your left and right mirrors and adjust your steering. Try not to look in your rear vision mirror unless you are checking for pedestrians, but once you have your car lined up equally, then you can use your rear vision mirror to complete the park. Once you have practiced this a few times you will start to get a feeling of how much of a gap to leave between the left line where you will hardly need to check the right mirror, especially if you park in the same carpark you will know how much space your car takes up in that particular carpark if that makes sense. Every car is different so you may need to make slight tweaks to my instructions, but if you follow the basic principles you will find it easy.
