Love how the flat brush applies the paint. The edging perfected this. Thank you

what do you use as a finish to protect your lovely work?

I am working in acrylics, so I use JoSonja products as well as paints. So for protecting my work I use the JoSonja Chroma inc. Matte varnish. It has worked well for me for quite awhile. Thank you for asking!

Thank you for your reply. I was happy all day long.
I often watched your RUclips. I understood how to make a mixed medium.
Since some time ago I want to learn how to rosemal on the web, but I am bad at English.
I am worried about if I will be able to understand your lesson.
I live in Gifu prefecture, Japan. It’s a very rural area.
So, I bought some rose painting books, NORWEGIAN ROSEMALING its a thick book. ROSE PAINTING by BJORG OSEID KLEIVI.
Now, I paint one of ROSE PAINTING.
To be honest, my work is terrible.
So I want to speak English better. And I want to learn your class.
By the way, How many hours is the time difference between your place and Japan?
      Please excuse my poor English.

@@sakurahigashi7461 Good Morning from The states! I am so happy you wrote back and thank you for all the kinds words and so happy that my videos have been helpful to you!! Your English is way better then you think as well. You have gotten great books to start your rosemaling life off to a great start and I am excited for you. There are many people in Japan that love rosemaling as well and we have a number or rosemalers here in the States that are from Japan or of Japanese decent. I think there are one or more books that are actually in English, Norwegian and Japanese, but you may have found them already. So you are 14 hours ahead of me. Which means that if my classes are at night you are in the morning, but I record the classes to share with those that sign up and you can watch them over and over again. If you have facebook, you can find my page at Art of Lise. Please send me a message there and I can get more information to you! Thank you again for reaching out to me and I really hope that I can help you on your rosemaling journey!!
