Thank you Mary! Giving courage to beginners is exactly what I want to do and I am truly thankful that it is helping!! Blessings to you and your family!
I love watching you paint. You make it look so simple but I cannot get a single c or s shape to come out like yours
Thank you for watching and keep at it!!!! I have been doing this for a long time and my hands have quite the muscle memory going on! LOL The more you practice the better they will get. If you use a sketch book for a practice pad, you will be able to look back and see how much you improve!!
Really enjoy watching you paint!
Thank you!!!!

What basic colors would you suggest from Jo Sonja for beginning rosmaling?
Thank you so much for following me on my social media sites and for finding me here! I truly appreciate that and welcome!! Basic colors.... ok, warm white, carbon black, Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna, Yellow Oxide, Red Earth, Norwegian Orange, Prussian Blue, Pine Green or Green Oxide. For highlight colors I would also add turners yellow, vermilion and aqua. I hope this is helpful! :)
Hi can you give me the name of a really good Rosemaling book especially telemark style. Thanks love your channel🥰🥰🥰
Hello!! Thank you so much for loving the channel and for your question. There are many books out there that are out of print, but a current one that has great Telemark rosemaling in it is a book by Diane Edwards, called Maryls Hammer painting in the Telemark Style using oils and acrylics. Another great one is a Sigmund Aarseth/diane edwards book called Aarseth Rosemaling Design. I am actually hoping to put together a good beginner telemark book next year that is coming together through teaching my zoom rosemaling classes.
