I JUST began juicing after a cancer diagnosis… I’m so happy I came across your video. Great information, great details that are missing from other juicing RUclips channels. I’m juicing twice a week with the Nama J2, and I usually drink them within 2 days. Thank you for sharing your tips to store longer, because I probably won’t have the energy to make it twice or three times a week once I start treatment. I have to say, my body feels SO much better once I began juicing.
A word of caution if you are thinking of juicing whilst having chemotherapy, if indeed that is the treatment you are thinking of having. According to Charlotte Gerson, of the Gerson therapy for cancer, which is part of the Gerson Institute, I seem to remember her saying that it can be dangerous to do juicing if you are having chemotherapy. I seem to remember her saying that this is because when you juice, the high antioxidant level in the juices causes toxins to be released from your tissues into the bloodstream. If you are having chemotherapy, this will also release that toxic substance back out of your tissues into your blood supply. This will then go to the liver to clean the blood, and will be highly toxic to your liver. You're basically overloading your liver with the highly toxic chemotherapy drug. I believe that is what she said. I would suggest you check out the Gerson Institute for a better explanation on this. As a sidenote, if your body is feeling so much better when juicing, maybe that is indicating that juicing IS the treatment. Just a thought! ;)

Thanks John. Love your videos. 👍 South of the border does have better prices for sure. $15 would be definitely worth it. The same company you have in the description but ordering from here will cost me $95. Another system with 6 lids is $56 and has a rechargeable pump to take out the air... which is the one I like. I'll check a J a p a n e s e discount store called D.a.i.s.o and see what I can find. If I buy a system that removes the air then I can make enough quality juice for several days, which will be a real time saver. Yes, you are right. The better solution is to make the best quality juice (remove the oxidation). Thanks for your input.
I have a foodsaver vacuum sealer with an attachment for widemouth jars that fits the standard lids. I haven't used it for juices yet, and will need to get half gallon jars for that. I have a Champion juicer I bought 47 years ago, but am now considering upgrading to the Sana 727. A DC motor is the way to go and worth the higher cost. Plus, it seems great for minimizing oxygenation and maximizing yield.
It seems to me that at the Hurom factory they saw your review of the H200 and did almost everything you offered them. The top container remained less transparent and they did not change to a metal screen. The lid remains not sunken like the J2. But they changed the handle at your suggestion. They shortened the engine, changed the waste tank to an external tank. I think they picked up the tip of the first blade that cuts the contents like in J2. Both the Auger and received vertical embossed stripes. You may want to give efficiency suggestions to factories. It can be not bad money (-:
More videos like this for sure! Just ordered a J2 based on your recommendation. These juicing tips were super helpful, like including the stems of leafy greens, I had no idea
Wow, this is great information but I have to agree with the comments that I’ve been coming in. You need to summarize these more quickly. It absorbs faster into peoples brains we’re going on and on and on and on it’s quite boring and not interesting but you got a Lotta good information it’s just that you again need to summarize it a lot more quicker. Keep up the good work.
I don't know when I'll get around to watching all this but I'm going to tell you right now the most important thing you need to know is that most juices and even if you're making your own almond milk or milk from other nuts is that the enzymes go flat within 48 hours and in other words only use what you're going to drink within 48 hours because after that the healing enzymes are basically gone
I don't know why it cut off what I was saying that's really odd but basically only use what you're going to drink in 48 hours because the healing enzymes die within 48 hours and so only make what you're going to use within 2 days whether you're making juices or whether you're making milk from nuts such as almond milk
@@gardensofthegods hey it's good to know. Just wondering if you have any evidenced based research link to the info you provided? I have a toddler so I'm too busy to make juicr every second day so I bulk them in vacuum seal jars. But if there is no benefit from drinking the juice I will stop doing bulk. Thanks
When you mentioned the ozone treatment, it reminded me I have a UV light I used for helping to sterilize various supplies when doing home mycology inoculations. After doing some searching, I never thought I could use it on produce prior to juicing, but there's lots of research showing it can reduce surface pathogens on food.
Hi John. I bought the steel lids and vacuum pump. It works great for storage. Only problem is, I've been breaking 3 of the vacuum pumps allready within 4 weeks, and only have few pumps left. Do you have any suggestion on how I can fix this problem? Thanks for all the amazing tips by the away. Love your channel, and I like the videos long and in depth excactly as you're doing them
Love your videos. I will be starting a prolonged juice cleanse in a few days (and recording my progress to share with the clients I coach). I will be purchasing from your website today. This is a valuable video!!
We had a masticating juicer and a Aicook centrifugal juicer like this one ruclips.net/user/postUgkxXHNfxr6U9XrHQpsdjUrKNVP231BfS9q9 Both of them made about the same amount of juice. The Aikcook one died in 3 weeks haha. China brand. LolSo we bought this one since at least we knew the brand name and it was about the same price.Imagine our surprise when we make two 16 oz cups of celery juice and have leftover celery. We juiced it and made almost another cup! Same thing happened with our cucumber juice. So it's about 20 - 30 % more juice than our other two juicers including the masticating cold press one!The motor is so much stronger on this one than the Aikcook. It sucks in the vegetables and spits them out like it's angry.I've only had it a few days so don't know how long it will last but all the plastics and interior is much stronger and better made than the other two we had. If it breaks, I can buy a new one with the savings in vegetable bill. Haha. This literally is going to save me about 60- 80 bucks a month because of the juice output. No one likes to waste food.Update! It broke in 8 days. Motor started freaking out. I'm going to get another of them and try my luck because I really really want this one to be the one.
In the description. It went of of stock quickly after I posted the video. Another alternative is the white pump that is basically the pink one using white plastic available at www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09ZHWHJ4B/
exactly my thoughts and also the reason why i never watch them despite the great content, which could be easily condensed into 5-10 min max, just literally jumped to 25th min to com to the actual content…
Thanks for the great tips. What I've been using are the inexpensive wine bottle stoppers with a hand pump combined with left over (empty) glass coca cola bottles. I don't know how it compares, but it seems to work okay and you can buy those stoppers cheaply.
Yes, that is a way to vacuum store your juices for sure, but those small hand pumps used with those wine things only pull about 1/2 the vacuum (so less air removed) than the pump I recommend based on my testing.
Your videos are fantastic and have helped me so much! I hated my first juicer: vrt350. Ugh! Too much extra prep and the cleaning was a nightmare. ❤Love my NC800❤ Now I love juicing.
What did you hate about the 350? Lots of prep work. I am on a budget and was able to buy a second hand 350 that was only used one time for $50. I pick it up in a week, what am I getting into? Haha
John, you never mentioned anything about freezing your bulk juices. What about using a Mason jar and use a foodsaver to vacuum out the air and then freezing them?
Your really a great person to teach us this and I just have watched two of your videos and I hope your still doing this too. I did go to your website but I had already bought a juicer for $85 dollars my next one will cost a little more.. My favorite juice is CELERY other juice like apple and lemon and celery juice bothered my stomach and was sticky in my throat. Even carrot juice bothered my mouth. I need to know how to make that go away. Lemon water and then celery juice doesn’t bother me in any way… I made all pure juices in my juicer. Celery juice, cucumber and I made carrot juice in my juicer..
Do you have any suggestions or Tips? If I want to simplify my vacuuming the air out of my juices is there an electric pump I could use so I don’t have to hand pump?
brilliant video John! does the tribest 2250 pump work as well as the hand pump that you're promoting? thanks for the heads up on those fermentation lids I've been looking for that solution for months. I had seen the fermentation lids online but not knowing anything about fermentation wasn't sure if they applied to vacuum storage, but in this case, you say they work so they must work. much appreciated 😎
The tribest pump is in-between the cheap pump I show in this video and the high end pump I show in this video. The tribest hand pump might be closer to the best pump I show in this video. While fermentation lids can work, they are not optimal, since I have found the seals not to be so good.
I'm a tad confused John I thought the lids you were promoting were fermentation lids as well that, they had good removable gaskets on them and I was considering replacing my mason jar lids with them. will the tribest pump work with those lids?
I mostly freeze my juices in glass canning jars , label and date. Lemon, lime, carrot, celery, ...however I'm trying to find the best way for apple juice. Raw unpasteurized apple juice before it does to its next phase.
When you released the vacuum sealed lid on the large jar and all of the bubbles dropped back into the juice, didn't that reintroduce the oxygen back into the juice? Then when you pour the juice into the smaller mason jar, wouldn't that reoxygenate the juice again?
In my opinion, the air does not go back into the juice, because, I can let the air back in, and then "re- vacuum" and no more bubbles come back out of the liquid..
John best work you’re doing thank you so much for all the best videos you make . John can you do some shows about alkaline water machines please . Thank you god bless you. 😇
Thanks. I am not a big fan of alkaline water machines. I recommend people drink leafy green juice instead (made of all greens) which is alkaline and has many other benefits. I do believe hydrogen water machines are beneficial, and I just got one I am testing from Korea.
Need to start juicing for health care...any recommendations for a first time juicer not to expensive. A juicer that does just about all around fruits and vegetables. Really appreciate your input 👍. Much blessings 🙌 Stay healthy.
Depends on your budget. I would recommend watching the video ruclips.net/video/7ILENcNpVOw/видео.html and get one of the juicers there if you are serious. If you dont have that much money, the low cost machine that is not as good as the ones in the video, but we have sold to many customers is ruclips.net/video/PV-bq6uRfvs/видео.html
I plan to make juice every two to three days. Sometimes i freeze them. Ive noticed that juices in the back of the fridge where it sometimes freezes gives me 4-5 days without significant taste change. Thanks for all your great ideas. Love my J2.
I do the same - I reuse Publix kombucha glass bottles - I leave about an inch from the top free to allow for expansion … I also get bottles from juices I buy from vegan restaurants …. it works very well for me
Hi John, I'm a fan of your videos, you have excellent information and demos! When I clicked on your link to buy the vacuum sealer that you recommended, two products were shown on Amazon. Is this the correct product?: Mason Jar Vacuum Sealer Kit, 8PCS Vacuum Sealer for Jars Including Reusable Stainless Steel Fermenting Kit Vacuum Jar Lids for Wide and Regular Mouth Mason Jars Sealer with Pump and Hose Brand: EROMAP? If it is the correct product, on Amazon it says: Currently unavailable. We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock. Material Stainless Steel. If this item is no longer available, do you have another product that you can recommend that is as good as this product, and if you do will you link it in this video or another video?
I'm juicing now and in my 2nd week. I tried different recipes and I didn't like them as well as the one I started with. I'm down 5 pounds and eating plant based and walking when it's not raining. What I don't like is some of them recipes separate in the jars overnight. I juiced 5 pounds of Halos and it tasted good that day and now 3 days later it's separated in my jars in the fridge. Ugh.
So I want the Nama C2, but that is way out of budget (One day). For now someone bought me the canoly j75 I think it’s called. Can you do a review on that and let the people know your thoughts?
I would love to buy a juicer from you and have just binged watched several videos. I appreciate the content. However, your website is too overwhelming. I would highly recommend that you work on your landing pages. A picture of a juicer, the price and an add to cart button is all I wanted, but the site looks gimmicky and I don’t trust putting my cc in it. I just got overwhelm when I arrived and clicked away. If you are not getting very good conversions on sales this is most likely why. Maybe it’s just the mobile version of your website. I would highly recommend the Story Brand book and investing in updating and simplifying your website for consumers like me.
Thank you for your feedback. It is at the top of the list to update the website. I am glad to talk to customers personally and take their order over the phone as a work-around.
Yeah you’re right about that. I actually did go ahead and recently purchase a juicer from John and I definitely know what you mean although I decided to just forge ahead and punch in the CC numbers and all of that - without incident I might add ;-)
What?? This is John - you guys are buying it from John. Who cares if the website looks gimmicky. Don't you Trust John ? I don't like gimmicky websites either, but not everyone is going to have their website perfect to your liking. That's Why you buy from someone you can trust. If you know the person then that should speak for itself. Keep up the Amazing work you're doing John. You're such a Blessing to all of us. Thank you. Don't worry about you're website. You'll get to it when you can if you want to (or you can just hire someone too that knows about these things since you're too busy to try and make everyone happy) We appreciate you John. We're buying our juicers from you not some unknown obscure website or stranger that can easily take our money. And that's all that matters. I'm Happy to put my money into the work of someone that is making a difference like he is and you guys should too.

John, there’s no Amazon link below regarding the pink vacuum. What is the name of it so I can search
LOVE your info! Thank you!
Maybe you gave overgrowth a Candida like me
Do you have any suggestions or Tips? If I want to simplify my vacuuming the air out of my juices is there an electric pump I could use so I don’t have to hand pump?
There are electric pumps, but they do not pull as much vacuum as electric pumps.
This is beautiful colors do you can you freeze them all and take them out once you're ready to drink it
brilliant video John! does the tribest 2250 pump work as well as the hand pump that you're promoting? thanks for the heads up on those fermentation lids I've been looking for that solution for months.
This should be a good one!
I am surprised you didn’t bring up freezing juices…Great video !
He did near the end of the video right after the vacuum pump part.
I did at the end :) I am not a fan of freezing juices for the reason I mentioned in the video.
freezing juices will help preserve nutrition but it wont taste as good
John Kohler is ageless!!!!
Any short versions of this video on how to store juices? 😊 great info.but too long
I change the speed settings to make it faster to cut down on time..:
I have to juice 1 whole lemon for each quart of juice for the second half of the week, otherwise the juice will ferment too much.
I'm using Ozone Therapy and it helped me with the Bat Stew Flu.......
@@incognitoalias2808 Did ozone help you get well?
The hand held are for sous vide. What’s the name of the pink sealer?
Thank you.....💟💟💟
Thank you for the great ino
Need to start juicing for health care...any recommendations for a first time juicer not to expensive.
A juicer that does just about all around fruits and vegetables.
Really appreciate your input 👍.
Much blessings 🙌
Stay healthy.
Love my J2.
What if you freeze for a month?
I freeze my bottles of juice right after juicing, and they're always like fresh when defrosted.
What kind of bottles are you freezing your juices in? I’m currently using freezer bags to freeze my juices.
I do the same - I reuse Publix kombucha glass bottles - I leave about an inch from the top free to allow for expansion … I also get bottles from juices I buy from vegan restaurants …. it works very well for me
Hi John,
I'm a fan of your videos, you have excellent information and demos!
Excellent!!!
Ugh.
What about freezing it in the freezer in smaller jars and bust out the day before you plan to drink one?
So I want the Nama C2, but that is way out of budget (One day). For now someone bought me the canoly j75 I think it’s called. Can you do a review on that and let the people know your thoughts?
What is your opinion about the plastic mason covers instead of the aluminum that can rust?
Not a good option as they don’t seal as well, and the lines trap air.
I’m sure that the website is legit but not secure when doing searches. I’ll agree it seems gimmicky.
@@carlaflores7169 I think you’re missing the point. It’s not John but the hackers. When you go to the website and do a search, the first thing you see is a prompt warning you that it’s not secure. This may immediately discourage some people.
What type of air/gas is in the remaining bubbles/foam if you're saying the pump is sucking out all of the oxygen?
Hi! New suscriber! I’m very interested in this video! 🙌🏼 thanks! 🙏
Would there be any reasons not to scoop out the foam before storing and after vacuuming?
That blendtec vacuum pump was insanely expensive. They can keep it!
I traded my house, car, wife and kids for one. It was a refurbished model, but what the heck.
Check this out, buddy. It works great for me and it's not too expensive. The lids are hard to remove and I get a loud pop every time. ruclips.net/video/L6JAmzy_k-4/видео.html&ab_channel=Vitality4377
I'm exhausted.....
Amazing!!
I don't have wide mouth jar. I only got the regular mouth. What can u use to vacuum seal thoses?
I have a Kangen and I'm thankful beyond measures for the 2.5 hypochloris acid that kills all bacteria and the 11.5 removes All of oil based pesticides! Making my juice actually taste identical to if I grew it myself. Oh my Nama 2 JUST CAME!🥰🤗😍💖
Yeah I love my Kangen , how do you use it for cleaning your fruit and vegetables.. 2.5 for then 11.5 ?
Hello I new to all this I would like to buy a juicer but I am totally confused
Where is your video on juice machine thank you
Vacuum pump and lids. Link ?
I don't see it in description
bottom of the description
Leaving a like and comment for all your hard work.
So leave the top on after pumping to store? So don't use the lids ?
Hi John, Would Apple Cide Vinegars to be used preserve longer for juices ?
Just subscribed, love your content 😍
Thank you John 🫶🏻
Have you tried the electric ones ?
Awesome..
I never knew this.. but then again. Im a Newb. I just made 6 18 oz bottles of celery juice. I drink one each day. would my 6th day be god or bad? I store the bottles in teh fridge with a lid on the bottles.
i have a kuvings 73nb and i lost the plunger some how. where can i maybe get another.
I juice green apples.
Is it ok to just the the first vacuum pump that you showed? Without putting it into a huge jar first?
Just juice put it into the 32oz jar and just use vacuum pump.
Can you seal jar in a water bath method
John you got us all excited about a vacuum pumping and now yes sir indeed the product is all sold out with no estimated date of restock. You’re too good at what you do ;-)
As of today, still sold out.
That de-aeration idea is good.
John, what if I freeze my juice? I have been freezer my juice and it’s tasty very good. But not sure if it still hold up nutritionist. .
see ruclips.net/video/CLKEBACDtCE/видео.html
Hi John can I please get the link to the mason jars in your videos?
Mason jars can be purchased at your local target, walmart or Winco Foods
I can’t buy/ship the dynapro vacuum blender to australia. So it’s now the nama vs vitamix. What would u choose? I can’t afford both. I currently use 5yr old ninja blender
I would use a Nama Juicer before I used a traditional (non-vacuum) blender.
Hi John, the pink pump is unavailable, do you have another recommendation for a powerful pump that’s intended for mason jars?
Alternate Pump: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09ZHWHJ4B/ that is comparable to the pink one, but its white.
Can you reuse lids for juices if the vacuum suction still holds?
When you released the vacuum sealed lid and all of the bubbles dropped back into the juice, didn't that reintroduce the oxygen back into the juice?
I'm curious about this as well.
