What do you mean “it started dripping”? Are you referring to the spout that pours the liquid out?
Yep I had a problem with the auger and they replaced the whole bottom part of the juicer!

We had a masticating juicer and a Aicook centrifugal juicer like this one ruclips.net/user/postUgkxXHNfxr6U9XrHQpsdjUrKNVP231BfS9q9 Both of them made about the same amount of juice.The Aikcook one died in 3 weeks haha. China brand. LolSo we bought this one since at least we knew the brand name and it was about the same price.Imagine our surprise when we make two 16 oz cups of celery juice and have leftover celery. We juiced it and made almost another cup! Same thing happened with our cucumber juice. So it's about 20 - 30 % more juice than our other two juicers including the masticating cold press one!The motor is so much stronger on this one than the Aikcook. It sucks in the vegetables and spits them out like it's angry.I've only had it a few days so don't know how long it will last but all the plastics and interior is much stronger and better made than the other two we had. If it breaks, I can buy a new one with the savings in vegetable bill. Haha.This literally is going to save me about 60- 80 bucks a month because of the juice output. No one likes to waste food.Update! It broke in 8 days. Motor started freaking out. I'm going to get another of them and try my luck because I really really want this one to be the one.

I do recommend vacuum juicing for sure. The void can be used for vacuum juicing, however the carafe size is smaller, so you would need to process smaller amounts that say the dynapro which is better for vacuum juicing. I will have a more videos on the void system in the future.

I have a J2 and is the best juice I have ever used and is very easy to clean.
I legit was going to go with the Kuvings due to warranty. Now I'm going to get the J2. That was smart of them to finally extend the warranty.
I used a shine xl for about 3yrs. Bout a kuvings revo830 last year returned it because the pulp was not dry enough to justify the cost over my shine xl , decided after that i was going nama j2 , just ordered and received it and first use i know i made the right choice the pulp is pretty dry so im happy. I appreciate all your reviews, i have relied on them alot !

I’m in the uk and on the strength of your video recently bought the nama. I juice everyday since I bought it. The customer service is excellent. They noted that I’d ordered the wrong plug and held my order until I confirmed that was what I wanted. I emailed that I’d ordered incorrectly and thanked them for spotting my error. I’m glad it’s got the 15 year parts now. I’ve got another juicer that you reccommended previously around 7 years ago. The pulp is drier but cleaning takes time and I have to stand over it, so it doesn’t get used much, only when I want to juice a batch of ginger which I then freeze. Thanks.
The juicer I bought 7 years ago is the green star. Much drier pulp, less oxidation but not as convenient as the Nama.

I recommend using the brush that comes with the juicer, not a sponge. I personally this brush from Ikea www.ikea.com/us/en/p/antagen-dish-brush-white-30534223/ although other suitable brush would do. I’m waiting in anticipation of a juice-off between the highly recommended OMEGA MM1500NC against this new NamaJ2, as Nutrition Centres. I know this will be a highly watched video & probably one of your most requested! The dryness of the pulp & quality of juice as a side-by-side comparison would be most interesting, especially for celery, cucumber and wheatgrass juices, but nut milks as well as nut butters and sorbets are an essential thing, and quality and pulp dryness in the side-by-side test would also be key.
Hoping that Omega provide you with the MM1500NC for testing as they have done with other models. I know you’ve been waiting, any update?
Omega promised to send me their latest model, but never have. I personally would avoid the MM1500C since it is made in china. The improved version of the NC models is the Sana 727 which is better than all of them, IMO. Did the Favorite 10 last night, and the NamaJ2 is due before the 26th, thanks...a bit of lite humor, I bred some of the most expensive beef cattle in the country so I can't tell my buddies about juicing nor will I ever be a vegan...however I've used a power juicer pro (rest in peace Jack) for 15 years, got my cholesterol down without medication and I'm in spartan shape for being 70...the power juicer pro has upsides( fast fresh orange juice), but weak on green juices...looking forward to getting the J2, because my back yard is over run with greens...best wishes to your health and continued success...respectfully,

Thanks. You don't have to proclaim yourself vegan to eat plant foods, and get their health benefits. I recommend eating as many fruits and vegetables as you are possible (whole, raw, cooked, juiced and even vacuum blended). Once you fill up on these things first, then enjoy other whole real foods, such as meats and dairy in small amounts. This of course assumes that your health is important to you. Glad you are getting benefits from juicing. I have heard that from most of my customers
You need to counter the effects of eating dead animals by consuming as much vegetables and fruits as you can. Kudo's for making an effort. I pray for the animals.

U said abandom and that hit hard. As i bought the julavie cold press some year back. Now they are out of business and the machine uses bags. And it hard to get them. So i may jump to the J2 soon.

There is no prop 65 warning on the J2 Juicer. In addition, Nama advertises it as "BPA-FREE"

I freeze dry the pulp to add to smoothies, bars or my dog’s meat supplemented food! Love this juicer! Do they have a vacuum juice “attachment”?!!!
There is no vacuum juicing attachment available for ANY juicer. However you can use a vacuum blender to "vacuum juice" and you can store your juices under vacuum and remove dissolved oxygen in the juice after you make it as I show in the video ruclips.net/video/kQI2x5x-DLw/видео.html for all my tips.

Just got the Nama but I have Pure as well. Nama for fast processing but I'm going to use the Pure to get the pulp left over completely dry.
I own the original Nama and I hate it having to chop being that I juice every day. When the Nama J2 came out I bought it because it was a no brainer and is my favorite one out of the 2. ❤️❤️❤️

Hey Kieron, as soon as the official smoothie strainer is released, I will be sure to make a video with it! It works just like other vertical slow juicers when making sorbet.

I have the Breville Juicer and it’s wonderful but yes the pulp is wet like that . I run it through twice .

A few years ago, you recommended the vsj843. I bought it, used it once and feel like I wasted a lot of money. I would love to try the Nama J2, but that is a whole lot of money for me. Sharon, the Nama J2 is so much easier to use than the VSJ843, that being said they use the same style of juicing technology. See ruclips.net/video/AH_lvuidw0M/видео.html for my comparison between the two.

Noah, Nama only increased the warranty of the J2 to 15 years on the entire machine. The original J1 has a 10-year motor warranty and 2 year part warranty. I do not recommend the Nama J1, as it is a manual-feed juicer and has a shorter warranty.
I do not particularly have success with their Customer Service Dept. The company has a CS number with an old recoded message and NO one ever picks up when you call...My opinion, only. For the price would be nice if they had someone who can take care of calls
I apologize for your experience with Nama. I would love to learn what # you called nama at? Maybe it is an old number? Once I know, I will investigate further, and if there are any deficiencies, I will work to get them corrected.

John...I have the J2 and am not having much luck doing citrus. Whether its grapefruit, oranges, or pineapple, it does ok for the first half of the fruit, then as it gets softer, the pulp starts backing up in the hopper, and the juice output is just drips, not a stream. I like the juices by themselves so don't want to mix them with something that might make the process easier. Any tips, or do you have another video on this subject? Thanks.
Citrus can be difficult for slow juicers. Here are my tips:
1. Select the hardest and firm citrus, they have a better texture and will juice better. Soft citrus will be more challenging to juice and also take longer because the processing blade pulps it before it is fed into the juicer.
2. Try to leave the peel on (if edible) such as limes and lemons, this adds more "body" and firm fiber that will work better
3. For oranges, and grapefruits, leave on as much of the white pith as possible
4. I would cut into quarters to work best.
5. Of course the best suggestion is to juice it with something firm, I like to juice citrus with Jicama which has a really neutral flavor, adds prebiotic fibers and mellows out the acidity of fruit juices.
hey john love your vids. off topic...would love if you can do a video comparing different water structuring devices. I only know of the kangen the tribest duet revitalizer, and the vitalizer plus......have you come across any of these? thanks john
I have not tested these myself and don't know a lot about them. I recommend juicing to extract the structured water + vitamins + minerals and phytonutrients out of fruits and veggies, that is the best structured water IMO.

This guy is the best at demonstrating the best tips on using the Nama J2 I’ve watched him for a while.
I’ve never thought of using the pulp to get the last drop of juice I will definitely be doing this from now on 😃. Also the self cleaning feature I will be trying this before I do my final wash.
Finally if anybody is thinking of buying the J2 please! Please! Please! Don’t hesitate, in my honest opinion it’s the best juicer on the market. I batch juice weekly and my juice last all week! It’s amazing!! 👌🏾 You might think it’s expensive but you can’t put a price on your health. I absolutely love it! Go ahead treat yourself! You will never regret it. 😉🤩

John does not review or recommend Angel Juicers due to bad personal experiences with the company. This is unfortunate as I am a huge fan of John's work but I totally understand his situation.
He does have a comparison video to the Tribest Green Star Pro on his channel that may help. This like the Angel is also a twin gear juicer. Personally having owned both a Green Star Pro and now an Angel I much prefer the Angel. The juice needs no straining, the yield is higher on all receipies I try, less parts to clean, less noise in use and it's not plastic.
However I am also thinking of purchasing a Nama for those days I have less time to juice. I am wondering if it will help. Cleaning juicers I don't find time consuming but it's the total prep (some things needing to be cut smaller) , using a plunger for each piece (unlike a hopper style) and the total cleanup at the end, I also live in a hardwater area so drying items is important so as to lessen mineral deposits.
With the Nama I will loose Yield, Needs to be sieved, not as good with leafy greens, it's nearly all plastic and has more parts. Pros are less chopping prep, no need to be plunging each piece, can walk away of prep next recepie. Pros and Cons to all.

Included with the Nama J2 is everything you need to get started juicing, including a nice recipe book, the juice catch and pulp catch pitchers, a cleaning brush, the pusher, a small hole screen and a coarse hole screen that will put more pulp in your juice. Shipping is included in the US 48 states. Other countries/states will pay for shipping. Shipping can be inexpensive depending on where you live. For example, shipping to Germany was about 30 euros when I last checked.

And just got my new number GT in a week ago. I absolutely love it, but it is a little bit tricky to clean. I actually have to unscrew where does Paul comes out because my kale and celery kept getting caught in between the groove and it cannot come out with the stick and that it’s been great.
I encourage you to precut your kale and celery into 1" (or smaller pieces) when loading the hopper, and this will make it easier for the juicer to eject the pulp.

Your welcome. I am only here due to The Juiceman getting me into juicing back in 1995, and making dietary changes myself, so I am glad to carry-on the torch and share the message of juicing and including more fruits and vegetables into a persons diet.
Might be a dumb question but when juicing do you need to skin any of the produce being used? Such as ginger, cucumbers, or any of produce.
no just make sure to wash your produce with vinegar or some sort of veggie wash
I wash a lot of large items outside with the hose.
If you turn the hopper upside down, you'll notice a rubber seal going around the circumference, maybe 1/2 inch from the bottom. Every time I screw the hopper onto the base, the seal comes undone and some of it sticks out. Maybe it's from not waiting for it to completely dry off after washing it?
I have not had this happen to my seal on the Nama J2. It is firmly seated in my juicer. On the other hand on the Hurom H310 the o-ring seal comes out every time.
@@discountjuicers From now on, I'll wash the juicer but not assemble it right away. I'll let it dry overnight and not put it together again until I'm ready to use it.

I've had my Nama for a couple months now and I didn't know there was a self cleaning mode 😅 I'll have to start doing that!
I do the soapy water like John shows but I put several quarts of warm water. And than do it again. Than take it apart.😂
What is the self cleaning mode?
@@johnnatuttle4344 it not NAMA comming to your kitchen. You put water in the top and turn machine on, drain it out and it has cleaned a lot of the material out.

I had gotten the nutribullet slow juicer, largely based on your comparison video. Loved it but it simply stopped working after a month and a half. It was simply the juicer that fit my budget at the time. We tried all the troubleshooting steps amd reset it and then contacted the company for warranty. Was told they would get in touch with is in 24-48 hours...this was 6 days ago and I have yet to hear back from them.
I'm replacing it with the J2, since you love it so much and it was clear in that video, even though you liked the NB Slow juicer too (it really does perform well when it works).
I will hopefully have mine in a few days. We are using it because my father in law has rectal cancer and juicing has been a part of our routine for a few months now. I love inventing recipes though and the J2 looks like a blast to use.
My 2 year old son loves putting fruits amd veggies into the machine and watching it get all crunched up.
I like the white color but white plastic usually turns yellow. Whoever has the white one how long did it take to turn yellow and stain from veggies etc. Trying to decide on color . Anybody have this issue?
I have not had my white juicer stain yet. I have owned it over a year. Its important to wipe it with soap and water if any juice should spill on it. Otherwise get the black that wont show stains.
I've watched many videos about this juicer and even trekked through the mfg's website and 25 page manual to try and find the hopper specs. What is the cup/oz size?
I watched a video and I thought you said the warrant was LIFETIME
The warranty is 15 years on the parts and motor. No machine has a lifetime warranty that I can think of
