- Demonstrations against the war in Gaza are happening on college campuses across the country. At Dartmouth College, professors brought the debate about the conflict into the classroom for a public forum. The school also offers a course co-taught by a Middle East studies professor and a Jewish studies professor. The class helps students form a deeper understanding of the Middle East's past, present and future. Correspondent Leone Lakhani travels to Hanover, New Hampshire to see the “scholarly exchange” in action.
Impressive but I would have expected no less from an institution like Dartmouth.
My grandsons have chosen well.
Thank you for humility, wisdom and empathy

So truth can’t be erased- comes out one way or another
This is how it should be on every campus--I only wish they could broadcast these lectures publicly in order to inform the public and other students at universities as the majority of people are incredibly ignorant on this subject.
This is very good and innovative way to address the problem in Palestine. For those who are Christians, let them read the book of Genesis, chapter twenty-three.
I hope that this is implemented throughout all universities- particularly the US “elite” universities. I went to UCLA, Stanford, Yale, and Columbia and trust me when I say that it is a complete one sided view which highly favours the Palestinian narrative. Israel is delegitimized, vilified and post-modernist revisionist understandings of history abound which places Israel as post-Colonialist oppressors. I was once proud of the universities I attended. After 10/07 and the way the West has shamefully reacted I am deeply embarrassed. These universities must start hiring professors with different perspectives. As it stands now these universities function to indoctrinate youth to hate Israel- (and also America) we are beginning to understand the horrific consequences now 😢
