Hello Kathy, I am not a fan of Israel, there is so much in this topic it's too grand for this oulet but I agree with you totally that what HAMAS did was horrifying and that here in Australia the Federal government, the New South Wales Police, the NSW parliament no one has stood up and condemned the HAMAS actions and those that scream, "Gas the Jews" in the foreground of our Opera House. Can you imagine the outcry if people were yelling the same thing about the Aboriginal community, there would be mass arrests. I have just returned from Europe and it is my opinion there is going to be mass civil unrest in Western Europe. I was present in Paris when the pro Palestinian protests took place, I was in London when the pro Palestinian took place walking across Westminster bridge amongst them. England has given refuge and protection to Palestinians and many other persons of the Islamic faith and now they are repaying that gift. Hamas hides like cowards in civilian infrastructure and underground tunnels under vital civilian infrastructure. This is a war crime to use protected infrastructure such as schools, mosques, and hospitals as military bases.
International war laws state that if the enemy uses protected infrastructure as military bases, then those structures become legitimate targets, that is, they lose their protected infrastructure status.
Otherwise, the terrorists can constantly invade a country to commit atrocities, kidnap civilians including babies and run back like cowards and hide under civilian infrastructure and say too bad the victim country can't attack lol.
That's your warped logic which makes you a useful tool for hamas.
Israel has accepted every peace deal offered but the Palestinian terrorists reject through intifada terrorism.
Arab nations have started every war and have lost them all.

Egypt also has border walls, checkpoints and blockades on Gaza. This is because Gazans elected a terrorist group in 2005, which immediately caused a brutal civil war to eliminate the fatah party, including parading their dead bodies in the streets.
After that, hamas immediately launched rockets, suicidal bombings and other terrorist attacks against Israel. In 2007, Egypt and Israel were forced into building walls and other measures to protect their citizens. Israel implemented the iron dome in 2011 as a further measure to protect their borders and citizens from hamas rockets.
Gaza has received billions in funds from the UN, etc. 99% of the money has been used by hamas to build rockets, tunnels, and other terrorist infrastructure. The gazans get enough to exist.

I don't agree at all. I find it befuddling that intellectually honest people can't see the wheels of history turning as they tell its stories. There is a star on one of the delegates. A symbol of apartheid rule in Nazi Germany. Worn by a delegation sent to defend and excuse apartheid right now.
There are repeatedly said things that indicate that things like genocide and ethnic cleansing are almost unmatchable evils- but only to make the current perpetrators look like the historical victims.
There is also a wild conflating of terms like Israeli, Jew, Judaism, and Zionism. Anyone that looks into it would know that these are not the same things at all. Judaism is a personal religion. Jewish is an inherited ethnic identity (There are no Jewish people so much as there are Jews who form a part of many other peoples. Jewishness has no national identity.)
Zionism is basically an Israeli nationalism, and it's really not compatible as an ideology with the religion of Judaism. The zionist ideology has created a "Jewish" state, but one that is fascist. Not democratic. The Jews that already lived in what was Palestine had lived in peace with their neighbors for many hundreds of years. Naturally they were intermarried across generations. After 47 these families were ripped apart. By force. Just like in Germany. People had to lie about who their parents were to get a job. The farmers lost the right to plow the land. They lost the right to dig wells or even use cisterns to gather rain water. Every tree and shrub was ripped up and the land left errid. Planting new ones could get you shot, and the non-jewish population is tried in military court. Where there is a 99,7% conviction rate. The man was paralysed from the neck and was in his bed recovering when he was shot by the IDF sniper. Also in the neck. Through the hospital room window. Before the bomb he had been a physical therapist at the same hospital. His work helped injured people recover.
He is still alive, but the physical state of him is the moral state of Israel and her apologists.
