I live in Polk County, and Grady Judd also encourages people to get their concealed carry permits and carry every day. He has also said on video that he and his deputies will NOT enforce any new gun laws, and if push comes to shove he will stand with the people against the federal government. That is why we elect him every time voting comes up.

He's not a Sheriff's officer. He IS the sheriff and and the ones who work under him are called Sheriff Deputies. Local the police have a Chief and under the chief are Officers.
