    I have a large gap on the inside of foundation where the fuel/vent pipes are exiting to outside. Can I use Stuff-it or canned foam instead of mortar to fill it in?

    • @frontwoodsfarmer2063
      @frontwoodsfarmer2063  3 года назад +1

      Absolutely the mortar is just more of a permanent fix vs the spray foam. Thanks for watching

    Doesnt the vent pipe need to end at the same height as the fill pipe?

    • @frontwoodsfarmer2063
      @frontwoodsfarmer2063  3 года назад

      I haven’t noticed a problem with it yet but that could be a rule of thumb not sure

      @@frontwoodsfarmer2063 I was told that by a long time professional here in Pennsylvania. i just figured it was required by the oil suppliers.

      Yes it’s wrong vent is to be higher than the fill smh

    • @michaelkatzenbach9478
      @michaelkatzenbach9478 11 месяцев назад

      I heard that the vent pipe should be the same size as the fill pipe or larger that way your not putting more pressure on your tank

      If it wasn’t too big to ship I’d give you it! I bought it for my kids at auction assuming there would be a key included in the sale I did not get that lucky 😂 I called the company who owns the machines they said due to COVID they weren’t able to get me a key at the moment 😠 it’s all ornamental now and resides on the front porch! Same to you your friend from the US 😊

      Seems like a lot of unnecessary work, I just used pvc pipe to plumb my tank in. I don’t know why everyone thinks u need to use metal pipe, but save time and money and go plastic.
