God the thing about Jessie's death scene that always gets me is her saying "Those were my bombs, they were all my victims. The characters are written so... perfectly to make us feel for them. The scene with Jesse just killed me because its so relatable for anyone fortunate enough to have a loving parent or that are one themselves. Jesse's mom leaves the light on for her at night in case she returns to visit. The thought that her mom will probably never see her again or hear about what happened to her and just wait indefinitely every night when she just never comes home again is just so devastating to me...
This remake...made me cry so bad. The last games that killed me in the last few years were Rime and FF XV. But this remake was a rollercoaster. I am not ready for what's to come next. But these emotions, I will still accept those. This is was supposed to be. Make people empathize. Loved these memories of sad moments. It's nice to let go sometimes.
