I felt like it's time to redo this run after a few runs have passed. A lot of the scorned runs were made when the no small monsters mod was still allowed on the freestyle leaderboard. So now I wanted to prove to myself that I can beat my old time even without it. And after dying to vespoids for hours and having to reset because scorned dive bombs the small monsters before I arrive I finally got a run that is faster than my old one

I know leaping thrust or whatever its called has tick damage but what was causing those other ticks?

You mean the 74 dmg ticks at 0:56? that's a mechanic of the swamp. When you paralyze a monster in the swamp the little frogs jump on it and if you hit them deal a lot of free damage
