This car is a timeless beauty. It looks good now and it will still look good 50 years from now. I know they are replacing the engine with a V8 but that V12 sure sounds amazing.
@@markscarborough1018 Yeah, me too. I don't know why they are going to the V8. I believe it is a Roush V8. The one thing that comes to mind is emissions. It might be harder to have the V12 pass emissions and the other harsh regulations than the V8. On the plus side, with the V8, the car should be lighter and a Roush V8 is a really good power plant.
@@StandingUpForBetter Yeah the Roush is a beast, but ffs look at it.... it subconsciously lets you know it has a V12 before you hear / read the spec! If Gordon Murray really appreciates design, then he should license the use of his Cosworth V12 as reward for such work.
@@markscarborough1018 Agreed. It does looks like it needs a V12. That Cosworth V12 would be sweet in the P72 if they have to get rid of the current engine.
Oh my life, I'm stunned 😲 this has to be the most visually-spectacular supercar design in decades. Brutally masculine, using only minimal clean, curvaceous lines; with zero clutter. Sounds 👌 too!

@@staLkerhu I'm not saying that "beauty becomes obsolete", and certainly the Senna is horrible (its excuse is it has been designed for a specific purpose). But at the same time you cannot design a replica of an old car and propose it as it's a new founding (the Ferrari P4/5 built by Pininfarina for James Glickenhaus was pretty pathetic too). You need to risk and find something new and equally beautiful. The LaFerrari, the Monza Sp1/Sp2, the Daytona Sp3, the Ford GT, the Chiron are all very good examples. I think the Miura is still one the most beautiful supercar ever, but if someone (even Lamborghini itself) would produce a replica of that, I would consider it a bit silly. We need to be brave and move forward. Marcello Gandini did it, and he completely changed the design vocabulary of the '60s.

i know nothing about this car but i almost had a tear watching this, this is what an exotic car should be. I have no doubt it was made by and with passion.
The flowing curves of the body looks both aerodynamic and beautiful. The high reving v12 sounds exciting, but I still like the sound of a high performance v8 over anything else. A car like that with a gt350 engine would be wild.😊

@@ryanc00p3r3 Not that we know. These prototypes have a V12 (and a sequential), because they are basically rebodied versions of the Apollo IE. The production cars are all supposed to have a V8 and a manual.
