Were the numbers you had stored in the car accessed via bluetooth in your phone or did you actually have to store them in the car? Can you call people from the phone and then speak to them via the car? Last I heard using a mobile in the car required a fixed mount point for the phone and you couldn't just have it left laying around on the seat.
I’ve have a new problem with my S80 2011. If a try a new iPhone like the iPhone 13 the Bluetooth phone connection just works one time, then I’ve have to stop the car open the door then start again. Now a have the iPhone SE 2022 and that’s work fine. Volvo says they won’t upgrade my old Volvo. My Bluetooth version in car now is 04.28_R Do you know what I should do? Want a new phone but don’t want to change car. Please help if you can 😁🇸🇪
My car is S80 2007 late, V8 with same console. i have tried so may times to get my phone connected, but no success at all. Manual says not all phones are compatible (weird) my phone is android 10 only 5 month old. Any suggestion please

Non it’s just for music but you can still use the in car phone system as well :)
Is it for music you say? How do you get it to play music? I have the same car but all I can do is make phone calls over Bluetooth

Aux cable only im affraid, later cars did bluetooth audio

my volvo v70 from 2009 looks likes yours, tho it dont have any option "phone", its only "my keys" there.... I cant find anywhere to add my phone+??
Unfortunately that means it did not get added as an option on your car, before 2009 Volvo offered a Parrot Bluetooth kit :)
