It's PLUG & PLAY to install with only a torx 25 socket or screwdriver and a trim removal tool or even a piece of plastic.
The quality of the sound is very good and you'll keep all the functions on your steering wheel.

Hey dude - great video - I'm in the USA but managed to get the unit thru Amazon UK when I visited some family recently - gave it to my son, your video, his mature Volvo & voila - he now has quality bluetooth for a great price - an absolute bargain - he is super happy. Currently he's on a 2 day road trip to Michigan with his Mom - so its just brilliant (not having to use an FM tuning unit - retuning gets old).

I bought one from amazon 8 months ago. It's in the car, I haven't installed it yet. this video helped a preliminary idea for installation i will install it myself as soon as possible.
Honestly you need only 15/20mn to do it and enjoy! Quality of sound is very good, at least similar to the original. Cheers

Honestly I never use it, it’s not so friendly to use as it is for the music Bluetooth

Good question ! No I didn’t BUT WE MUST ! OR WE SHOULD HAVE AN AIRBAG WARNING ⚠️ LIGHT ! I removed with the VDASH software that is free. Thanks for the question 👍

👋 hi! Thanks a lot for your nice comment ! Sound is amazing, really ! The only thing I noticed is if you have something hard in the sides pouch, it could move and makes vibrating when the bass are loud 😅. Anyway, we just have to remove and that’s it! Really good sound

You don't need cd changer. This thing tricks your device thinking that you have one.
Does the microfon work well with phone calls, and wher did you put the microfone?
Honestly I don't know yet as I never received a "real" call. I just tried out after installation with my wife's phone and it's working well. I put on the side of the climate control unit, there's a gap between the unit and dashboard. like that it's hidding the wiring.
Is there a side noise when boosting all the way, a slight whistling from the speakers, because the Chinese models have it.
Honestly no, quality of sound is very very good. I just mentionned that if there's something hard on the storage compartiment belon the speakers it's vibrating with the bass, obviously there's no link with the bluetooth adapter!

Dont change the head unit. Your parking sensors and steering controls and other sound wont work
No need to change, just plug at the back of the unit

I pulled out my HU-850 and both off the rear plugs are already in use. Any ideas?
I guess you’ll have to disconnect the cd 💿 plug unfortunately, or at least the unit using the connector you need for the Bluetooth item
@@psv1600 I disconnected the second plug and it works perfectly. No idea what the second plug was connected to though? Everything seems to still work fine.

@@robbhultman actually it is for rti when you unplug it rti still works but navigation would be without voice command. You can use Y adapter to solve this problem.
