Im having a problem on my ix20, my battery continously drains even after i turn it off and while i charge the battery from inside the transmitter it beggings to boot loop. I bought another battery (not spektrum) but the problem stays. Any ideias?
Hi Jeff! Would you do a video on the ix20 and the telemetry and any data logging capabilities that can be used with turbines? I’m looking to upgrade from an nx10 and also get into turbine. FrSky and others seem to have data logging and “telemetry” that some say is years ahead of spektrum but I’d prefer to stay with spektrum.
thanks for the video jeff. ive done it wqron g for some time until i found out how by myself and yes i use the same type amazon plug also. my question to you is it ok to leave the radio charge overnight. im afraid of overcharging.
I don’t have any trouble charging my iX14. I mostly leave it in sleep mode and charge it using a 6’ USB cable. I tried using the magnetic cable that came with it a few times and didn’t like it. My battery seldom goes below 80%. I mostly charge from a USB port on my computer because I use ScrCpy to operate my iX14 thru my computer.
Thanks for the video most of which I was aware of, my issue is that no matter the time it is on charge I have yet to see the battery indicate 100%, indeed whith each consecutive power off and then powering on the indicator shows many differing charge states. Also, I noticed that your battery indicator was varying substantially throughout the video, is this normal with this radio or does it indicate that I have an issue with my Tx, I purchased mine nearly four years ago as well and have always been wary of the battery state?
Thanks for watching, Mine does vary some about 10% but when it is on steady it does settle down. Be sure it have your radio up to date because some time ago this was addressed. Also there is a difference from the Android side to the Airware this is normal but gets talked about a lot.
@@jeffholsinger3356 Thanks for the reply Jeff, my radio does have the latest iteration but does still behave as I desribed, I am sure its not going to just shut off but it is a little disconcerning, I am seriously thinking about purchasing the iX14.
Also what is the minimum battery voltage that you should not fly the airplane? Thanks. Great videos

Can you share the link for the USB cable?

What is the fully charged battery voltage, to know when you have a full charge.

Glad to hear it's working good for you that's the kind of battery life we should all be able to get

What should the battery voltage read when fully charged. Thanks
do you have a link or model name for the charger you use not the usb c
