This series of videos completes the required instructions in order to use this fantastic new system. With these videos it's now a piece of cake to operate this system. I love it!

I didn't see any new information about the gyro. You could already do this setup with the previous AS3X and with any other gyro that has gain bank control like Cortex and Igyro.
I want to see videos that show what Synapse does that others don't and how to do advanced setup rather than basic setup.
The put to sleep or turn off function is interesting.
I already have a Synapse here to test, I updated the IX20 today and it seems that the software is the same layout as the spektrum app for AS3X.
I would like to see a table that shows two curves, stick priority x gain curve. How the first influences the second.

Nice video, thanks! What I missed is how to find the best gain value for each of the 3 axis (pitch, roll and yaw). Is it still the same as for the previous gyro (i.e. make only one axis adjustable via the knob at a time)? Or is the process different with the Synapse? Thanks in advance for your answer, Luca

Interestingly, I followed this relatively simple instruction to the tee but could NOT get the logical switch to turn the gyro off. The section in the beginning that assigned the gains to my flap switch worked great but even though my Logical Switch 1 values are identical to the video settings my logical switch will not turn off the gyro. Also: even though I renamed it "Gyro Gains"it (same as vid instructions) it does not show as such on the monitor. Oh well, I am just happy the gains are on the flap switch now anyway!

That’s neat but does not fwd programming and multiple flight modes perform the same outcome? Flaps and FM can still be linked by logical switch setup?

Sort of. It’s a bit more to it tho. Flights modes let u set a mode for as3x, one for safe and one for off. This setup here I believe will affect gains in both the as3x and safe modes.

Seems to me way to many switches having to flip during flight.
Why not put gyro mixed to throttle.
High gain at low throttle and low gain at high throttle.

Because u might not always have low throttle when landing or high throttle when flying fast such as in a dive

The setup seems complicated but is super worth it if u have an ix radio cuz it’s really only one switch that you’re already going to be using for flaps anyways. The gyro kill switch only gets used in an emergency in case the gyro or receiver becomes dislodged in flight or starts to behave erratically for some other reason which shouldn’t happen on most flights
