I was at the barbican last week when a scruffy looking type, looked like he was someone who collects my rubbish bin , ambled onto the stage and started playing. Ten years after this was filmed!! my jaw dropped , i had never heard of him before ( my ignorance ) , what an amazing surprise.
I had the honor of turning pages for Mr. Bronfman, gosh almost 20 years ago. I don't even remember the program now. He probably doesn't either, if he used music. I believe it was a string quartet or something... What I do remember is his kindness and warmth, and sense of humor. I was a nobody then and though I do work in music today, I'm still a nobody. That experience will start with me

An absolutely marvelous collaboration between Yefim Bronfman, Paavo Järvi and the Orchestre de Paris. Beautifully filmed, edited, and recorded. What more can you ask for? 😎🎹

Why is the criminal Vladimir Putin conducting this magnificent work of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky? Was Tchaikovsky depressed that his Piano Concerto was not as good as that of Grieg which debuted soon after Tchaikovsky's?
Thank God that RUclips has not blocked the beautiful Russian composers. What a wonderful pianist and orchestra.
It is hard to find new compliments for Yefim Bronfman that haven't already been articulated. He is a spectacular pianist/musician artist.
