To me, this piano concerto's first movement is a full concerto by itself. It's that grand!
I'm becoming addictive to this channel. Cleveland Orchestra since George Szell is one of the finest orchestras in the world.
Yefim Bronfman is with his interpretation at his highest level.
YEFIM BRILLIANT!!! GREAT CLEVELAND ORQ AND DIRECTOR !!!thanks🙌💯🌹
What an amazing performance of this miraculous concerto! Bravo! Bravi! Greetings from Brazil!
Thank you Mr. Yefin Bronfman. 🌷🌷🌷 (Holland-eu )
43:15 did a string go on the piano? Stunning performance from a truly brilliant pianist ❤
¡Bravo, Yefim!
At this point, William Preucil was still with the orchestra and the renovations to Severance Hall not yet been made. I was surprised to find the hall's acoustics rather dead - no comparison to Berlin, Vienna, Amsterdam, or Paris. However, the playing is excellent so there's that.
The hall was renovated from 1991-2000. This performance was from 2015. This hall has amazing acoustics - some of the best in the world. I’ve played there and heard The Cleveland Orchestra in concert.
@@NathanielRobinson Excellent. That's the difference between listening on RUclips and actually being there!!! I thought I had read somewhere that the hall had just recently (2022-23?) been renovated. Thank you!!
@@violinhunter2 yeah RUclips can be deceptive. I played Sibelius Symphony #1 with The Cleveland Orchestra last summer at Blossom and we had a rehearsal in Severance. It has the most brilliant acoustics. Before the rehearsal I was in the back of the hall and could clearly hear (I kid you not) people on stage whispering to each other.
Bravooo execução perfeita de todos l👏👏👏👏👏👏🌺🙏
Por favor es español - castellano, gracias
Does anyone know if this magnificent performance will be issued on cd?
Bronfman is great, the Cleveland Symphony is great and did you know Johannes Brahms is great?
One of the most emotional compositions, I love this concerto indeed, let the music caress your hearts fans & never let bad guys win to screw us the joy of life. . . Brahms was a great guy indeed, try to imagine his audience listening this...the most scandalous heretic waking up all demons hidden in any hypocrit liar of his ages😂😂😂😅😅😅
I guess The Cleveland Orchestra has lost its shine since its golden era of George Szell.
You guess? It's important to be specific when you're being obnoxious.
@@dbyers3897 What should I say.
Clarity, accuracy and liveliness of sound.
