    Pectoralis major/minor is used in almost everything you do with your arms in front so they can easily get tight and pull your shoulder forward. Then, other muscles at the back like trapezius can be stretched out and this gives you neck and shoulder pain. Therefore, chest muscles are definitely one of the root causes for your pain and a posture destroyer!
