as someone who is 33, I feel like I'm finally embracing my young 30's/ overall age now. I think its just weird to see your body change so drastically in the span of a few years (seeya metabolism, hello beginnings of wrinkles) but you are so right for this. I need to remember that even though when I look at a pic of myself at 21 looking so stunning and young, I know at 50 I'll be looking at a pic of me at this age now and think I look so stunning and young. Such a silly thing we do!
So true! I'm 36 now... I look at a photo of myself 10 years ago and think, why wasn't I embracing my body then because now I wish I was in that place 10 yrs ago. I have no doubt this will happen all my life now on in....moral of the story-embrace your body now, because aging is not on our side..and I felt the past 1-2 yrs a noticeable change with injuries, niggles, wrinkles etc
Thank you! I just got into my 40s, and I feel it sometimes when I make myself think about the numbers of years I am, which makes me depressed thinking how I am already this age. But when I can stop myself and start to count my blessings, and I feel lighter, happier, thankful I have made it this far, that I am healthy, and that I always try and take care of myself as long as I can remember. I’m getting married on Wednesday I’m 44 and my fiancé is 57! We’ve never been married before. It is harder as you get older and see it happen for others. I just looked at the positives not the negatives. Plus I never had children. Sometimes the love of your life comes later in life. People in my family were all married in their 20s! They’re all still married except and have children and houses. Only two people have split. one is remarried. The other one just got a divorce. So it was a long good ride for me! 😆❤️🤩It’s better to wait and it be the right person.
Aging is a blessing!!! You’re getting to live more life. Not everybody makes it to 33, or 43, or 63, etc. View it as the blessing that it is :)
I love that. That's such a positive way to look at it! I've been down about aging, but this is a really good way to look at it.
I am 33 right now and would not want to go back to being in my 20s. I feel so much better mentally or with my body. Even my workouts feel better. I even think my entire body functions better than it did prior to my 30s. I am way more in tune with what my body needs. What I do miss is the time for decisions. Currently decisions like do I want kids feel way more urgent. If this was not a thing 30s would be a bliss.
Also age definitely does not limit your options. (Maybe except for kids). My mom built her entire business in her 40s. My hubbys mom rebuilt her entire life in retirement at 60. The thing however I would say 30s taught me is that we do not actually have to keep thinking we have to achieve anything. We are not in a permanent "we must do mentality" we are supposed to enjoy life. That is it. Maybe be a decent person in addition.

I've got good news, Nikki: this is just what your early to mid 30s does with your brain. By the time you hit 40, your priorities and self confidence shift so much. People talk too much about your 20s, when the reality is your 30s are such a wild time of growth and self discovery. Keep up with your physical and mental health and you can't go wrong ♥

I turned 48 this year and it was an eye opener. So many things I've not done or seen. So many things on my bucket list I've just set aside for "some day". I have no idea where the last 15 years went. In my head, I'm still 30-35, but my body says "hold up bro". All work and no play. 😟

As I'm heading out of my 30s, I have to say that it was the best decade so far. You become more significant to the people who really count the most....starting with yourself.
Girl, you have so much going for you at your age!!! A lot of people consider 33 as SUPER YOUNG. You're beautiful, have your businesses, get to do what you love, you're smart, funny, I would LIVE IT UP! Your experience, the lessons you've learnt, the many times you've fallen in love and travelled, you're aging like FINE WINE. I always like to think aging as you getting wiser, hotter and getting more intuitive and aligned with your soul. I would write down all the things that bring your life meaning, all the things you're curious about and want to try and go out and do them. A lot of people age quicker (by soul not age), because they lose track of the many opportunities there is right in front of them or missing their why/purpose. When you have excitement and enthusiasm, every birthday feels like, wowww, I went out there and LIVED and I am so grateful for the memories and person I have become. I always say, your 30's is the new 20's. It's the era where you are the most grounded, know yourself well, built yourself up and this is where the even greater sh*t starts. We love you Nikki! Don't fight it. Hopefully you will embrace the imperfections that make us who we are. Those stress lines mean we fought our battles and we won. A wrinkle here, a grey hair there, they show the world that we have lived, seen, and experienced so much in life.

Nikki! OG follower here. I'm 33 as well. I feel ya girl! Evey day is a struggle mentally with aging. The only thing that keeps me sane and gives me peace is that I feel more myself mentally/emotionally the older I get. And it's just nice to know we're not alone in getting older we all gotta do it. Started a second career as a teacher at 35. Married the best guy ever at 37. Went back to school and got my masters at 38… just applied for a doctoral program. People may disagree, but for me knowledge is power. Flex with your accomplishments. There is so much life out there to be lived!

I am the same age as you and I also feel my face is super expressive. In between my eyebrows wrinkle regardless of a smile or a frown haha. But there is alot of things I like better about being in my thirties then my twenties. I feel alot less emotional and also more confident.

I'm 37 and definitely don't feel like it but have learned to just embrace that age is a number, not a state of mind 😊 One tip I recently learned that's super simple, you may already be doing this, but when I moisturize my face with my anti-aging creams and stuff, I apply it on my neck and chest too. For women, those are 2 areas aside from your face that show age, and since doing that for the last year I've actually noticed a difference in the appearance of wrinkles from my cleavage and neck lines. Easy peezy tip 😁 lysm!

Age with grace and gain wisdom as the years come. Embrace your thirties, Keep in mind that getting old is a blessing not everyone is lucky and have the chance to age. Workout to feel good and age with strength rather then just to look good, sure that’s a plus.
