All you have to do is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. Believe that he died on the cross for your sins and had a bodily resurrection 3 days later. We cannot be saved by our works but by faith in Christ alone. Repent and turn to Christ. You will have joy, happiness, love, and peace beyond understanding.
Always hated how JJ didn’t consider Peter for the staff job.

That's exactly what makes this Raimi series so interesting : self sacrifice without getting anything in return.
Society is straight up shitting on Peter , partly due to the fact that he is an missunderstood and passive introvert.
a) His relation to Mary jane was horrible and she treated him like shit before she discovered he was spiderman
b) Harry treated him like shit too after his father's death. All because Peter is an introvert who doesn't want to break the promise to Norman.
c) His financial and academical life is suffering as well due to being spiderman. He is too shy to approach Jameson to get what he deserves like Brock did. This is accurate because people like Peter gets often stepped on by everyone in real life
4) You can do so much good for people but make 1 alleged mistake and people will witch hunt you. That's what the Daily Bugle does and the people actually believed all that rumors despite spider man saving their ass numerous times.
In conclusion : Every normal person would become the Joker under these circumstamces rather than Spiderman but Peter choose the hard way instead.
That's why Spiderman 3 is even more interesting.
Symbiote Peter has had enough with all the bs from the people in his life. Him shitting on Harry is letting out all the hate and dark impulses he has been surpressing so far

The closest thing to that would be a show called the office
That'd be cool. And considering how often a supervillain breaks in their either because they want to find Spider-man, want the Bugle to bait Spider-man, or have some kind of beef with Jameson, we'd still get plenty of Spider-man action. Plus I know for a fact that several of the Bugle's employees were supervillains in one continuity or another, so that'd be fun to see them planning their schemes. This movie trilogy alone had those a couple of those scenarios.
I was hoping for a Daily Bugle show office-style that takes place in the MCU.

@@leoa3799 Yeah, back in the early 2000s, Topher Grace was thrown out there as a candidate to play Peter Parker. I actually think Topher would have done a good job, maybey even better then Tobey Maguire, especially in the quips department. And Topher is slightly younger than Tobey, so although it wouldn't silence all the people that say Tobey was too old when he was cast at age 25, if you got a guy that was 2 or 3 years younger and 22 or 23, at least it would quiet some of them down.

Don’t care if this Eddie Brock isn’t “comic accurate” or not, he’s a cool mirror reflection of Peter Parker without an Uncle Ben in his life and love that he has a personal connection to Peter, unlike Tom Hardy’s yet.

@@Silver_S847 I mean that this Eddie only could’ve become Venom because of Peter Parker, the fact they were competing for the same job, which lead to Peter exposing Eddie at the Bugle, which lead to him going to church and bonding with the symbiote, and all of that on paper is great motivation for Venom to go after Peter, even if it was a little rushed in the movie, compared to Tom Hardy’s Venom who hasn’t even met Spider-Man.

The fact Jameson made Peter and Eddie compete for the staff job irks me. If I was in his position I would have automatically given it to Peter right there on the spot because he had been there longer and been a great freelancer while Eddie was just hired a week ago as a freelancer. I would have said something like this:
"I'm sorry Eddie but the staff job has to go to Peter because he's been working with us longer. However, if a staff position comes open, I'll consider you".
But that would be uncharacteristics of JJ.

You know, Topher Grace actually isn’t doing a bad job when he’s just playing Eddie Brock. He was godawful when he was actually Venom, but he’s actually portraying the jerky, hotheaded foil to Peter Parker really well in this movie.
I personally liked how he played Venom. It was just terrible writing wich made him look bad at playing Venom imo.

I think he played Venom well for how the character was written, he clearly pulled off the angle they wanted which was just Eddie Brock being even douchier. They just didn't write Venom very well, that's the issue

Maybe the two characters are father and son with RC Everbeck being Eddie Brock Sr. and Topher Grace being Eddie Brock Jr. Notice how Eddie (played by Grace) states his full name in his meeting with Jameson and at church when praying. Maybe he is trying to distinguish himself from his dad (played by Everbeck) and that is the reason Jameson makes him and Peter compete for the staff job. His dad used to work there so Jameson thinks his son will be just as good as him.

He’s definitely like Gaston from Beauty and the Beast in terms of his character getting worse throughout the progression of the film (starts off as a arrogant buffoon, then reveals his true colors as a corrupt & shady person to get what he wants, and at the end reveals his deep true nature as a vengeful, evil, & murderous villain).
I cannot stress this enough Topher Grace did a great job of portraying Eddie Brock and Venom at the same time he gets the Medal of Honor for playing two characters in one movie
