I love this routine and her gymnastics in general. She has amazing technique on her very difficult tumbling passes, great form, has a fun and exciting choreography... she's simply the best

this routine is out of this world- mad props for finding music\choreo that really worked for her and allowed her strengths to shine through. Just finished watching her floor at the 2009 AmCup, and this is such a huge step up! Brava!

I agree with you that she doesn't have that same spark anymore, but I think that has more to do with how bubbly Gabby Douglas' personality is. Also she didn't downgrade her routine, all she did was take out the punch front and add the leap. I thought that was a smart move since it takes away landing deductions and still gets a connection bonus for the leap
im not 100% sure on this but judges at the olympics and other international events seem to judge a bit, well i dont know if differently is the right word.. maybe harder? like at 2008 visas shawn johnson got over 16.00 both days on floor but at the olympics her scores were mid 15s
How did this score the same as day 1? First pass wasn't landed as well, and didn't she miss a leap out of the 2nd pass? Still love her, just wondering.
How did this routine score a 15.250!!! In the olympic team final where she did a much better routine than this by several tenths in my opinion she scored a 15.000. Someone please explain how this routine scored higher!

This seems to be a theme at the Visas in a Olympic year, the same thing happened in 2008.
