For those of you talking about the "robotic" choreography, this type of music calls for sharper movements. Some places could be better, but not all artistry is grace (which Jordyn actually shows if you know how to look for it) and balletic movement. They did a very good job considering the music. I love it! And she always seems to be smiling, whether she really is or not! That's pretty amazing!
After seeing her at all kind of championships or tournaments both home and international, I think she performed the best in this one, every move so in tune with all those perfect landings and spins. She deserved the gold in all-around in this thing. Gymnastics is all about the present performance, man.
one thing i love about jordyn is she shows she ENJOYS it unlike so many other gymnasts. she smiles and shows that she loves what she's doing even under all the pressure where i see so many other girls with serious looks on their faces the whole way through.
The more watch this routine the more I love it. The choreography is sharp and very smart for her personality and style of dance. Congrats Dominque Zito, you did a fantastic job with this routine!
@iheartgymnastics412 i completely agree, what makes this routine so captivating is , combined with her skill, is her interpretation of the music. the moves fit around the music, and for once, its not a droning noise in the background.
I suggest you all watch the eurovision song contest performance of this song Ruslana - Wild Dances, Its made me find a whole new love for this routine!
I love this floor routine, it's probably my favorite one I've ever seen. She's one of the only gymnasts who is so perfectly in sync with the music, but yet it has so much attitude to it too. I'd love to see this as her Olympic routine. I could see her winning with this! Wieber Fever!
Jordyn's not my favorite gymnast, but I LOVE her floor. She was really on here, her landings were great and her presentation was excellent. Wish her performance in the event finals in London had been half as good.
I absolutely love this routine. Her choreo and passes both remind me of how old school vets on the international stage used to compete. THIS is what Olympic caliber gymnastics looks like!!!
I am awe. When I look at her I think about Barcelona and how magical the USA Women's Gymnastics program was and the Dominiques, Shannon, and Keri just repped us so well. I feel like London is our time again. 2008 was great and so was 2004 but 2012 has a great line up
Whether you like her routines or not, Jordyn always puts a smile on your face! But I love her floor routine because although there are other countries that emphasize on balletic dance styles, sometimes watching the same kind of choreography gets a little boring. For example, the Russians are great with ballet, but sometimes I feel they could "pump it up" once in a while; which is why Elena Zamolodchikova was my favorite gymnast beacuse she wasn't a typical Russian ballerina.
WOW!! Im in love with this routine xD She has done a great job in qualifications !! Good job Jordyn... This is gonna be an exciting AA competition. I don't care who is gonna win, Komova or Wieber, but until the end im going to support Viktoria!! :)
As now (October 12th) the difference is very close during the classification rule AA where Komova RUS 60.157, Wieber US 60.032 Yao Jinnan CH 59.031, Raisman US 58.432
@amengxx Which is why i love watching her. There are some gymnasts that just have so much talent but there's no substance to it. In Jordyn you see the fire, the drive, and the passion and joy which is why she has gotten so far
Personally I'll be happy if either Komova or Wieber wins. They are both amazing gymnasts in their own right. You can't compare them because they have different styles and personalities, just like how you couldn't compare Shawn and Nastia. Komova is graceful and balletic, while Wieber has more up beat routines. Be happy that we get to see such great gymnasts competing! :)
@Amy Pilkonton - that's because 2011 is towards the end of a quad, where everyone is having their dress rehearsals for the Olympics. 2013 is just the beginning of a quad - 2016 a loooonnngggg ways away - nobody wants to peak and burn out before then!
I love how everyone is comparing these girls- you can't compare weiber and komova bc they are totally different gymnasts. And when it comes down to it I will always root for and American over someone from somewhere else. At this point I don't see anything spectacular with Komova but I am going to keep an open mind and watch her gymnastics without being critical. Who r we to say who is going to win next year at the Olympics or even this week. So much can change in such a short amount of time. GO
She was such a hard worker. So many people go on about Komova not winning in 2012 and Gabby isn’t the real champion. I usually just say facts and then remind them that Jordon beat Komova in 2011.
This routine is great. Will be interesting to see who gets the AA title. Wieber or Komova! They are both great. I slightly prefer Komova's style, but you've gotta say Wieber has awesome gymnastics too. That double-twisting doube back!! Wow. Bring on the AA on Thursday ! :)
WOW... AMAZING MUCH!!!!! I LOVEEEEE THIS ROUTINE!! ITS MY FAVOURITE ROUTINE, GREAT PERFORMANCE AND GREAT MUSIC... DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT HER MUSIC IS CALLED??????
@Missnewyork28 Thank you for that comment! People never consider anything but landings and form when it comes to execution! The CoP needs to be more strict about technique!
Here is the reality, for those of us who grew up and enjoyed gymanstics back in the day when true arists like Lilia, Shannon, Silivas, Laschenova and Lysenko graced the podium Komova is a breath of fresh air. The Russians are the only gymnasts left who understand the ART in Artistic Gymnastics. Yes they must hit to win, but their work is more beautiful than the Americans. Plain and simple.
jordan's routine's routine works for her style....and she shows it well, she looks comfortable in her own skill.....sometimes routines just don't fit the athlete, this one does....
@KarpfenKarpfen I couldn't agree more! I'm confident in the US winning Team Finals and Maroney winning Vault Final. But other than that, everything else is sort of up in the air, anything can happen.
@Missnewyork28 And honestly, I don't see any bad presentation in Wieber's routines. I mean, only because she doesn't have a ballet moves, doesn't mean it looks bad. There's also Men's ARTISTIC Gymnastics, but they don't dance like bellerinas.
Thanks! I don't think I trust that source though. The link to the actual article only mentions Svetlana Khorkina, not Liukin. I wouldn't say she's too much of an influence on Komova.
@ShawnVikaKomova2012 From what I heard that one where she stepped backwards and off the mat was the only Amanar she managed to stand up. Honestly I think she's going to do the DTY during the AA and in the Team Finals, it depends on where the team is at the time (unless it's been so bad in training that there's no way she can do it...which I think is even more likely)
Dream beam routine for Wieber: 1. Jump to center splits A 2. Free walkover + ff + loso DBC .2 CV 3. Switch leap + back pike CC .1 CV 4. Split jump + sissone AA 5. Free cartwheel + side somi tucked DD .2 CV 6. L turn + turn CA .1 CV 7. Johnson 1/2 D 8. Back tuck 1/1 + ff FB .2 CV 9. ff + ff + triple full BBF .2 CV FFDDDDCC 3.4 + 2.5 + 1.0 = 6.9. Huge D score. I doubt she'll pull the triple dismount around so with a ff + ff + 2.5, she'll have a 6.6. Massive score =D
I agree with KarpfenKarpfen: Qualifications are more than 3 scores counting. In the Final Russia and China only need to hit 3, so the TF format works better for them. So it will be a lot closer on Tuesday.
I love her floor routine because she's one of the gymnasts where the routine actually matches the music!
The name of the song is Ruslana- Wild Dances. It was the winner of 2004 Eurovision Ukraine.
I love the light in her eyes when she finishes the double double pass at the begining. You just know she wants to be there and loves it so much.
The more watch this routine the more I love it. The choreography is sharp and very smart for her personality and style of dance. Congrats Dominque Zito, you did a fantastic job with this routine!
Eurovision!! I love how she uses Eurovision songs and the song is called Wild Dances by Ruslana
She's technically amazing, and has an excellent dance presentation and feeling for the music too. Well deserved AA champ!
This was one of her best floor routines, and that solid landing at then end was amazing! She is an amazing gymnast, and she's so awesome!
@TheAllysandra Wild dance - Ruslana. She was on eurovision in 2004.
Jordyn's beautiful, and this performance was perfect.
She had the most solid landings. Just love her floor routine
I love this floor routine, it's probably my favorite one I've ever seen. She's one of the only gymnasts who is so perfectly in sync with the music, but yet it has so much attitude to it too. I'd love to see this as her Olympic routine. I could see her winning with this! Wieber Fever!
Just amazing performance plus Ruslana's music as background - it really worked!!!
Jordyn's not my favorite gymnast, but I LOVE her floor. She was really on here, her landings were great and her presentation was excellent. Wish her performance in the event finals in London had been half as good.
her music is amazing and so is her routine
i love this routine so much!!!!!! and the double double is phenomenal!!! hope she can keep it up in finalssssss!!!!
The best music i've ever heard and the best exercise i've ever seen! Amazing!
I absolutely love this routine. Her choreo and passes both remind me of how old school vets on the international stage used to compete. THIS is what Olympic caliber gymnastics looks like!!!
she is amazing
I am admittedly not the biggest fan of Jordyn, but this routine was wonderful grace and technique under pressure. Bravo! Best of luck in AA!
I am awe. When I look at her I think about Barcelona and how magical the USA Women's Gymnastics program was and the Dominiques, Shannon, and Keri just repped us so well. I feel like London is our time again. 2008 was great and so was 2004 but 2012 has a great line up
This is one of my favorite floor routines.
Best I've seen her do it ever.
Ooo, this was so good. Just that foot out of bounds. Such expressive work.
I do love her confident smile
Can someone tell me what's the name of the song she used? I just love the melody! btw, she's great on floor.
Me encanta, ya no he visto coreografías como estas 💕 perfecta combinación de ritmo y acrobacias
Her routine goes great with this music
She OWNED this routine!!!!! Cmon Wieber were rooting for ya!!!
WOW!! Im in love with this routine xD She has done a great job in qualifications !! Good job Jordyn... This is gonna be an exciting AA competition. I don't care who is gonna win, Komova or Wieber, but until the end im going to support Viktoria!! :)
Best gymnast ever!!! U r like a new Shawn Johnson!!!! AMAZING!! Wieber fever!!! ❤
what a wonderful song and I was supporting shawn Johnson but I'm loving this girl now.
As now (October 12th) the difference is very close during the classification rule AA where Komova RUS 60.157, Wieber US 60.032
Yao Jinnan CH 59.031, Raisman US 58.432
Je me lasserai jamais de voir cette vidéo..!
i love these new leos
I love this floor routine! I even downloaded the music! lol...I hope she keeps this routine for the olympics! :)
That was... a wild dance.
@amengxx Which is why i love watching her. There are some gymnasts that just have so much talent but there's no substance to it. In Jordyn you see the fire, the drive, and the passion and joy which is why she has gotten so far
Her floor tumbling has alot of power!
it is on wikipedia!!!
"Influences:
According to Komova, the gymnasts who inspired her most are Svetlana Khorkina and Anastasia Liukin."
:-)
Personally I'll be happy if either Komova or Wieber wins. They are both amazing gymnasts in their own right. You can't compare them because they have different styles and personalities, just like how you couldn't compare Shawn and Nastia. Komova is graceful and balletic, while Wieber has more up beat routines. Be happy that we get to see such great gymnasts competing! :)
this is my favorite FX, really she is very amazing. love her
She had some amazing passes. I see gold in her future.
This was perfection.
@Amy Pilkonton - that's because 2011 is towards the end of a quad, where everyone is having their dress rehearsals for the Olympics. 2013 is just the beginning of a quad - 2016 a loooonnngggg ways away - nobody wants to peak and burn out before then!
Her FX (floor) is amongst the very best ! I fully agree !
Coreografia perfeita!! Espero vê-la no ALL around em Londres 2012.
You deserved A GOLD MEDAL from this !!!
GO
Beautiful routine!!
And I love her leotard!!
Great job Jordan!!
Best routine and music ever. GOOOOOOOOOOOO JORDYN!
That last landing was awesome! Great floor routine!
Yes, she certainly is !! Fully agreed !!
She was such a hard worker. So many people go on about Komova not winning in 2012 and Gabby isn’t the real champion. I usually just say facts and then remind them that Jordon beat Komova in 2011.
My God she's magnificent. A National treasure for sure.
i love that music and i love her she is so dope
She is indeed and always be!
The best floor for more than 15 years!
I can do a roundoff backhandspring too!
QUÉ FIERA!!!! UFFFFFFFFFF. ES IMPRESIONANTE.
LOOOOVE her music!
Other than the front layout at the end of her third pass, this was pretty good. I hope she wins the AA :)
WOW... AMAZING MUCH!!!!! I LOVEEEEE THIS ROUTINE!! ITS MY FAVOURITE ROUTINE, GREAT PERFORMANCE AND GREAT MUSIC... DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT HER MUSIC IS CALLED??????
my olympic champion
@Missnewyork28 Thank you for that comment! People never consider anything but landings and form when it comes to execution! The CoP needs to be more strict about technique!

She has my favorite floor, it is fun and exactly on the beat. Cool to watch.
It will be great to see Komova vs Wieber here. Anyone can win on any given day.
jordan's routine's routine works for her style....and she shows it well, she looks comfortable in her own skill.....sometimes routines just don't fit the athlete, this one does....
i could watch this thousand of times lol
@KarpfenKarpfen I couldn't agree more! I'm confident in the US winning Team Finals and Maroney winning Vault Final. But other than that, everything else is sort of up in the air, anything can happen.
This was my music last year:)
Right. She worked so hard. She deserves to be the champion. Not Gabby.
She had an ankle sprain during the olympics so she's fighting the pain on floor!
i love this. she looks like she's having a lot of fun :) :)
I love her routine!! My favourite
@HelloMi1000 Its the instrumental version of the Ukrainian eurovision song contest entry of 2004 Wild Dances by Ruslana :)
@Missnewyork28 And honestly, I don't see any bad presentation in Wieber's routines. I mean, only because she doesn't have a ballet moves, doesn't mean it looks bad. There's also Men's ARTISTIC Gymnastics, but they don't dance like bellerinas.
amazing in every way
@sstthh1 i think she did get credit for the front layout but got a good deduction because of the bent knees on execution.
Thanks! I don't think I trust that source though. The link to the actual article only mentions Svetlana Khorkina, not Liukin. I wouldn't say she's too much of an influence on Komova.
I wish she performed with the amount of energy and expression she had here in the American cup 2012...
@ShawnVikaKomova2012 From what I heard that one where she stepped backwards and off the mat was the only Amanar she managed to stand up. Honestly I think she's going to do the DTY during the AA and in the Team Finals, it depends on where the team is at the time (unless it's been so bad in training that there's no way she can do it...which I think is even more likely)
o.m.g she is the most amazing gymnast ever
We love you Jordan Webber!
i love this gymnast
she really is wonderful.
Dream beam routine for Wieber:
1. Jump to center splits A
2. Free walkover + ff + loso DBC .2 CV
3. Switch leap + back pike CC .1 CV
4. Split jump + sissone AA
5. Free cartwheel + side somi tucked DD .2 CV
6. L turn + turn CA .1 CV
7. Johnson 1/2 D
8. Back tuck 1/1 + ff FB .2 CV
9. ff + ff + triple full BBF .2 CV
FFDDDDCC 3.4 + 2.5 + 1.0 = 6.9. Huge D score. I doubt she'll pull the triple dismount around so with a ff + ff + 2.5, she'll have a 6.6. Massive score =D
that stuck double pike gets me every time.
@gymnastfigureskater Wild Dance. It's one of the Final Fantasy songs I believe. I forgot the singer though...
this is incredible!!
I agree with KarpfenKarpfen: Qualifications are more than 3 scores counting. In the Final Russia and China only need to hit 3, so the TF format works better for them. So it will be a lot closer on Tuesday.
@volleyballgurly15
I think the win depends on who of these 2 performs better in AA final. It counts who has the better day. That's it.
This is my floor music
@laurelgardner14 She really enjoys gymnastics and shows the passion to us, which's awesome.
