Doing 75 across the sandy dirt near Moab is one of the coolest driving experiences I've had.
Great review, Sarah. I appreciate you showing the underside of the vehicles you review. That exhaust system looks really strange, but sure sounds bad ass! It also seems like you're getting more and better cars to review. That speaks volumes about your credibility. Keep up the great work.
I cant remember any factory exhaust set up that knew it needed a weird twist to equal pipe lengths. Crazy design but cool attention to detail.
With the shifter folded down, there's a shelf you can pull out, turning the center console into a full length desk.
I still prefer anti theft device 😂
Because I need a desk in my pickup truck.
I‘ll sit down on a table if I need a table/desk.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE ON THE LIFT UNDER REVIEWS. Would not surprise me if someone steals the idea soon. Great work as always Sarah
Like maybe savagegeese?
@@atticstattic True but there's no substitute for Sarah!
@@atticstattic ahh...never watched, will check out
I love that color. Reminds me of some of the muscle car colors from the mid-60s. Big thumbs up for the tailgate and wheel well camera angles, and I can certainly understand why this video took you a loooong time to edit. The “bug” description of the muffler had me in stitches. Great review of a great vehicle, Sarah. Thank you. 👍👍👍
Excellent video, the only thing you forgot to mention is that you can’t get one with a 37 package for under 100K. I tried to buy one and the dealers are asking for a 20K markup! I ended up getting a 2019 with an 802A package and 23,000 miles for a fair price. Excellent review other than the annoying markup saga that plagues new Raptors.
You in Canada ?
@@jiggagrave6861 California
Sorry that you did not shop around . I got my 17 Raptor at sticker price. Plenty of dealers willing to sell at sticker
Thanks Sarah! For that price for a truck like this... Yes I do need a V8!
That's the way a big truck should sound. Respect to the sound engineers.
I seriously doubt that.
Nice to see pure driving fun whilst enjoying great engineering at the same time!
Just this past week I saw a sign that read.
If you pay $3.00 for Smart Water, It may not be working!!
😂😂😂
What I love about your reviews is that your to the point and you are genuine and do a camping off-road video with the raptor! I really like your videos and your personality!
I would totally trade in my 2020 raptor for one of these 22's, if there was a dealer in the country who would actually sell me a non loaded version without a huge markup priced as mentioned in the video. :-(
Yes we need the Raptor R with the supercharged Predator, and I'm not giving up my Gen 1 6.2 until it happens.
I love that you say "aluminium" instead of aluminum. Since that's what the actual element is called.
My granddaughter and I really love your videos. Keep it up
I love how many are saying they would take a TRX but I haven't seen it complete a Baja 500 and survive like these Ecoboost raptors
I have a Tundra with a Saddle Brown interior. I LOVE it. Like you said it has color, it has character. Its amazing how many people hate it.
As ever, just the greatest channel 😊❤️ all kudos to the hardest working content creator on RUclips 😊 much respect ✊
I drove a 6V92t and the sound was EPIC!
One of your BEST reviews ever!!!😊👍👍❤️
Fun fact for you all, the ford raptor frame is only built at one location in the United States, I work for the company and We’re in A tiny little town Bellevue Ohio!
I found a article one time that talked about the Exhaust, the Eco-boost engines supposedly use a Helmholtz resonator instead of a standard muffler, no baffles.. all tuning for sound and no back pressure.
Sarah, You’re brilliant and funny. A+ reviews. Big fan! Merry Christmas 🎄
Rawr. Thanks for explaining the crazy muffler.
That's my dream truck. Love everything about it. Can't justify a mortgage payment for it though
You came during the night !
Still first thing in the morning is still a treat 🏴🇺🇸🏁
Love this lady. I know nothing about cars. Just love her humor and well.... Custom vocabulary and beauty.

6:57 I dunno why but that reminded me of an apprentice checking a tyre with water for a puncture (while the tyre was off the rim)
I would never buy any vehicle unless and until you reviewed it. Great Review!
I had a thought: you should review classic and muscle cars, as well. I think your format and followers would equal a lot of views. Just a thought.
Beauty, brains, building a rally car --- what do you expect from the best auto reviewer in the four corners. I think I am in love -- with the color blue and a truck that goes rrrrhrrrrrrr 🙂
I think the shift lever hiding is to be able to put the flat tray on for use with a laptop.
The snarl is very impressive! Seems Ford did their homework.
Now you need to get your hand on the new 2022 Ford Expedition Timberline Edition. Not quite a Raptor, but the most off-road version of the Expedition line.
Great review, as always.
I love your review! You always crack me up and make me smile.
Cool truck and a cool review. Love how you actually put it to task off road.
Great review, love how you have it on the hoist to inspect the suspension.
Hey, was this review after the Bronco camping? See what one nights camping away can do for you, you look amazing and relaxed, which is great to see!
@ 15:10 the exhaust sounds like one of my morning farts.. 💩...speaking of giving it the beans.
You need, a helmet Sarah for you test drives, have to protect that Grey Matter as well as your quick whit and charm. Nice review!!
Yes, and a Hans device. Hope the damage hasn't already occurred.🤯
@@ramblerdave1339 which is only effective in a vehicle modified for it's use, not a typical production vehicle.
@@jameshaulenbeek5931 In a effort to be brief, I did neglect a few items, not thinking anyone would use my comment, as an instruction manual, but I guess my attorney would recommend against me leaving it up in the air like that. Sarah already knows this, but for the rest of the class, you need a 5 or 6 point restraint system, a seat that is compatible with them, a roll bar, cage, or anchors , to attach them to. All that to protect her from hitting her head against the side window, until the air bags activate. 🤕
Awesome!! I love my twin turbo 3.5l eco boost!! We bought it for the Max tow package for our RV, but every day driving its fantastic. I'm not surprised the Raptor felt nice on and off road. Your reviews are always fun. My wife and I like your humor which seems similar to ours. Thank you!!
I have a lariat 3.5L twin turbo , it’s very surprising how powerful it is. I’ve always had v8’s and love the sound of them, I’m not a huge fan of the v6 open exhaust note though. I’ll keep mine quiet and enjoy the stealth power.
The feeling that there is a very beneficial new energy present in your reality is present. Curiosity has been inspired, not that it is any of my business, I only type this because you are now glowing, in a very beautiful way.
Thanks for the excellent review on this special truck. I dont need the off road capabilities but really appreciate seeing what's available from Ford. You look very pretty too.
I bought 2021 F150 Lariat with 3.5 love the truck
In the name of science it is now time to give this thing "Click Click" the beans. Nice touch 😆
@Bee Nobu - agreed. Sarah is so fast i could NOT see her write on the board, like a female Dash.
Your living the dream out there !!!
Love your reviews! Great video!
YES!!!! Great video Sarah!!!! The Ford Raptor is great for any lifestyle. But it thrives in the off-road racing environment. Great video and education. Thanks for sharing. I learned so much.
The best...most comprehensive Raptor review ever! You rock!
I’ve never heard you chuckle like that, it’s hilarious.
O.k. your bolster wiggle made me forget what vehicle you reviewed, but I'm sure it was an awesome review and an awesome vehicle. So there.
Your giggles of excitement are the best!
Of all the fun things you say, "Shport" is my favorite.
I wonder if rock crawl makes the exhaust quieter so you can hear your spotter.
Spotter.. ahh yeah, forgot some people actually have those.
That $63k "list price" is cute. They're actually selling for $110k and that's IF you can find them. There's a used 2020 down the street from me that has over 100k miles and it's priced at $78k. Don't get me wrong, they're probably worth every penny because you can drive it hard and the resell value is still strong
Twin turbos. Excellent opportunity for additional critical failures down the road. Prefer a large NA V8. Less stuff to replace in the long run. If you’re dropping $82k+ on a large hi-po truck, do you really care if it gets 19 instead of 13 real world mpg?
Guess you haven't done your homework, the main bearings and block on the 3.5 twin turbo uses the same materials as the indestructible 6.7 deisel power stroke
@@powersource2180 😂
Gotta love it when Sarah says “equipped with Aussie sized beer pot calipers 🤣”
Joyful, joyful, is enRaptored Sarah, royally cloaked in Rhapsody Blue. The exhaust pipe routing with the trumpet and X fitting is a symphony unto itself. Amazing stuff that you are able to see with the lift and point out to those of us who don't have a lift or observational skills like yours. Who remembers phone numbers of friends from third grade? This was a hoot and a holler, with more than a few giggles mixed in!
I just found your channel and I got to say that it's refreshing to see a review that tests a truck properly, great work. I find it annoying when people review a truck like this and only drive it on the street and then say it handles terribly (because of the soft ride). It's not a true test/review of the vehicles capability for what it was built for.
I think you should do a whole episode on the pro and cons of
“girthy driveshafts”… 😜🙏
The price is absurd.
Everything is priced absurd right now if you haven’t noticed.
@SarahnTuned still true a year later 😂
It’s even more now. Thanks inflation and markup people.
I "LOVE IT" when you give it , the Beans...
Love your reviews
I'm getting the new Ranger Raptor down here in the next few months. Great review as always Sarah
That’s awesome!
Favorite car review channel by far. So funny and cute!
I think you had more FUN in the Ram but I think you liked the Ford better.....judging by your reactions during the test! Cool video!
Kudos. First review to point out ode to old-school locking hubs.
Love the sound that makes, and the interior is lovely looking, I'm also sick of black beige, and gray.
"Comfy Ass Truck" 😆 I love your sense of humor and smarts🤩
yay the boys are back see you left them behind out on the test run if it was better than the raptor then they would love it too
Ms Vtec would appreciate those adjustable pedals, and can I point out how impressive Sarah is in backing this rig not just into her garage but under the lift as well?
My goodness your outfit during the final score! 🔥🔥🔥
Ok, you officially execute the best combined entertaining/informative vehicle reviews. Peace and take care.
Can’t wait to see the Ranger Raptor over here and maybe a maverick ST!
I know it's not like you get to pick the vehicle, but if you can get your hands on a Giulia that would be awesome. Great content as usual keep it up!!
"Hey, it's funsized friendly, I don't have that problem" Oof... Lol...
Your sounds of joy while driving the heck out of this thing were wonderful. Quite the endorsement :)
I like your reviews and when I go off road up the hills and go in reverse up the hill you really show what the trucks can do
I don’t remember my raptor having such an aggressive exhaust note if it did I probably would’ve kept it. Instead I traded it in on a Roush supercharged five. Oh
I love that you compared the sound of the engine to a 6V92- I mean- what better way is there to turn diesel fuel into noise? (16V71, maybe)
Well done review - you communicated well the comfort, utility, and simple fun of the truck!
That panning shot of the underneath the truck though. 👌
I will say, as someone who is a Ford Tech, that these aren't terrible to work on. But they can be massively inconvenient to get things to a point to work on it. Such as breaking down plates, removing liners, etc. to get to a component, or for the 16 valves, removing plugs that are pointed down, partially, and right up against the shocks. But the fact that it otherwise has a decent amount of engine bay room is nice.
idk why, but I like the shifter hides away thing
LOVE your reviews! And you're not exactly chopped liver, yourself!
Loved the 'ol 300 inline 6: dad had two of them over the years!
Thank You Sarah , nice review on the RAPTOR , With all do respect Sarah you are the most Beautiful Mechanic i have ever seen
Great job. I think the issue with the six cyl is that they’ll need to be paired with a turbo or twin turbo. The turbo will result in mechanical issues far sooner and more frequently than a naturally aspirated 8 cyl.
I don't think that's necessarily the case all the time. Cummins diesel engines have turbos and they last many more miles than petrol engines. As was mentioned in this video about the timing chain being an issue on earlier generations of the engine. That seemed to be the first point of failure. Now with that issue resolved this 3.5 engine may surprise us and its longevity, although limited data is available to prove so because it's still relatively new compared to V8
The diesel engines are typically build more robust that gasoline engines. That's why they have such longevity & the fuel helps lubricate the cylinder. Turbocharged gasoline engines don't typically last as long. Those turbos add a significant extra strain on the engine that a V8 doesn't have. There is also the complexity of dual fuel systems & dual timing chains. They wouldn't need two timing chains if the engine was built more robust, including thicker timing chains, thicke cam sprockets & higher quality chain guides.
The V8 engine was less complex & had less points of failure.
Too my point, Limozine. Absolutely. Can’t compare diesel and gas engines. If so, truckers rigs would have gas.
Girls coming up on 500,000 subscribers!
Yep, appears to be climbing steadily at a rate of about 1000 subs per week.
You and that Ford Raptor are awesome.
Actually a 2021 model Ford Raptor. Not many changes but the temperature displayed in the HVAC controls is the dead giveaway. That feature was moved to the screen display for 2022 models. Nice review though.
Thank you Sarah!
Great review
The bolster test is back! ❤️
Sweet video Sarah. The button that lowers the shift handle is for cab activities enjoyment.
you gave a comprehensive review on those parts that no other reviewer addresses...
What a truck, it made you hair look all wild xD You seem a lot happier and rested than you did lately, and that is great to see :-)
I like how the tailpipe tips have a little hole in them so that truck bros can easily attach something obnoxious and dangly.
Just wanted you to know I really appreciate your reviews, Sarah. Always look forward to seeing you have posted a video.
Love the Australian beer referance😅 👍🇦🇺
You were right about the sensor that it is for reading suspension travel & position but it is for the adaptive suspension's active dampers...I think?
I didn't even know about the headlights till now.
Best sounding Raptor since the V8...is the V8 raptor still coming?
Yup and it’s a 6.2L Supercharged V-8 and MSRP is $109,245
