is the side mirrors electronically controlled for folding inwards/outwards or is it manual?
John 928 I have a 802a package and they are electronic. Button is on the door with other mirror controls. I always use it while parking in town due to width. Also, nice to have when squeezing into smaller spots off road.

This is the truck I have, and let me tell you it is pretty good. I drove the last two weeks in the mountains between north Wyoming and north Montana. I drove through all the off road options, Including 1 foot of snow, and the truck behaved as intended. I suggest the truck to all you out there that like and need to drive off road.

Actually you can get older f150s with a supercab and 5ft bed, I guess those were from left over trucks that were just thrown together, still cool and would be an awesome truck to have.
I meant to say supercab, obviously the crew cabs can get the 5ft bed, that was a mistake that I overlooked.
But it was retired before the coyote was offered;(

I’ve heard from several mechanics that while eco boost can provide excellent power it comes at a cost. That cost being premature engine wear/tear leading to expensive repairs.
Not really, ecoboost engines had a few issues when the tech first came out in around 2010, but they're pretty solid now.
My buddy has a 2018 raptor, he drives all over the Country for his job. He’s very well off. Has over 200,000 miles on it already. Actually the only problem he’s had with it was the rear end.
This is my dream truck. In all black. This is why I save half of every paycheck, so that someday I can buy one of these bad boys

You mentioned that you experienced issues with the transmission. I’ve had my Gen 2 Raptor for over 2 years and at first I was on the fence with the transmission; however, what I came to realize is that the truck adapts to the driver after some time “learning” your habits and driving style. I normally use Sport mode and have a heavy foot, so it’s adapted and I cannot remember the last time it didn’t shift properly and aggressively when I demanded it. You have to use the driving modes properly to obtain the full potential of this beast and allow it to adapt to you over a little time.

The Plate is covering the front intercooler!
"Close to 97 inches wide with mirrors." So, same as a regular F150. Interesting how many don't know that the cab (including mirrors) is just a regular F150 cab. Not any wider. The front and rear track are the only things wider than a regular F150, and the wider Raptor-specific fenders have to accommodate. But when you include standard mirrors, it's all the same width overall. Guys that buy a regular F150 and throw on zero or negative offset wheels are the same width essentially, minus the bodywork. To put another way; a regular stock F150 and an F150 Raptor fit through the same hole in a wall if you don't fold the mirrors on either one.

Yeah but the raptor is already very expensive. Can’t imagine the price with a supercharged v8.

I own a 2018 and just hit 50k miles. I had hesitation at first but Ford Performance did it right. Remember, this is a baja truck. The 3.5L ecoboost while having obvious turbo lag, still does extremely well and will beat the gen 1 Rousch Raptor (600hp) any day. So while opting for the gen 2, I get more hp, torque and more bells and whistles than my Mercedes SUV. The other reason the 3.5L works is that it’s smaller and lighter giving the truck less weight and a lower center of gravity for better overall handling and performance. If my only complaint is the exhaust sound, I’m okay with that. Did I mention the turning radius is amazing? Which you will need for a super crew truck.
First person I have ever heard say "you can only fit 2 car seats in the back." Doesn't seem like a big deal, but I appreciate knowing the small things like that. Great review!

On the c7 corvette it’s a sport car and it has 450hp and I always fantasized a truck with corvette like performance this raptor is awesome the ram also is pretty awesome with its 700hp. I want a spacious truck with insane sports car like driving I think it exists now...
With so many cup holders they should make restroom inside it too incase someone have to pee...

If they put a bathroom in this truck ,you aren't going to be able to afford it.

That red stripe on the wheel actually has a purpose. When off road, you need to know where dead center is on occasion, without getting into too much detail.

I have a 2020 raptor as well. And to this day I still cannot stand normal drive mode using all 10 gears and the ridiculous shift points. When I first bought the truck it was in sport mode when they started the truck for me and brought it around front for me to drive. If I test drove that truck in normal mode I may not have purchased it. But I didn’t realize that I was never in normal mode until I left the dealership.. But Talk about lagging when you’re driving around town. You can literally be in 10th gear going 40 miles an hour. Running 1100 RPMs. I don’t see how this is good for the transmission, or the motor. Running at low RPMs all the time is bad due to lack of lubrication. And it always feels like it’s just in too high of a gear for the speed you’re going when you’re in normal mode. I’ll be in 8th gear going 30 miles an hour. I do love sport mode! But that basically turns the truck into a serious gas hog because the RPMs are always around 2000 or higher. They should have made normal mode in between sport mode and what normal mode currently is. Thus far there’s absolutely no reason for a 10 speed transmission besides causing more issues down the road. That’s the only thing I hate about this truck. Everything else, fantastic!

Same here. I’ve seen the same ones sitting in the front all 6 of them lined up and they have just been sitting for a long time now.
Due to the ridiculous mark up. Saw a video where a dealer had a 20 grand mark up. Damn thing was going for $90K+
The $20k mark ups are gone now in my area (Phoenix, AZ). And no these trucks are NOT flying out of the dealers here. Some even have discounts.
And one of the local dealers where I live sells over 100 of them year as they have contracts with oil field companies who use the truck because of its off road capabilities.
Wait until the recession hits, then snap them up for pennies on the dollar.

If I'm going to dream, I want the 2020 (2019 will also do lol) F-150 755hp Shelby Super Snake, which is nearly double the cost of this truck at $120k! Brian Shaw (4 X World's Strongest Man) just purchased 1 and he showed it off the day it was delivered by an Indy Hauler from Kentucky. It's an amazing vehicle and they are numbered and he has #2 and #1 isn't even on the road yet as it will be auctioned off. No telling how much some rich bloke (or woman) will pay for the privilege of having #1. This truck is also very nice....and expensive lol.

I like the look of this ford raptor, but only one thing I’m backing up that is gas mpg. It has a small engine but no good gas mileage. I think ford needs to focus on improving on mpg in this good looking track.

Why why why, not put the 6 1/2 ft bed on the Extended cab version? Bugged me ever since the Raptor came out. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they could have used just one wheel base for all the Raptors that way (the supercrew wheel base) for both cab configurations that way. The Extended cab with the more usable bed length option just seems crazy not to offer.

Calvin Ellis v6 puts out enough power. They put the 7 liter in the super duty though.
