Honestly... It saved me from a nail once. I fell onto a nail and the wallet was in the front pocket of my jacket. When I fell I fell directly on a nail and a frantic tapping of my torso left me puzzled. How the heck is the nail bent and my skin intact. I turned out that my habit of wearing it in the front pocket saved me from a nasty puncture. I have a dent in the wallet now but it makes for a decent story.

Since you already have material it would be amazing to see the composition of stainless steel in the CT. rusting issue: either it's not actually rusting, or it's not stainless steel or the chromium content of the stainless steel is so low it can barely even be called stainless steel. Please check it out.

@@scootersfrogsome people sometimes find things cheaper to fix it yourself if you got the tools. Just depends if you got the time to do so like if you got the money to replace it.

This is beyond cool. I think if I had the xxxxs to do this (and I had a cyber truck)-I wouldn't repair it.
As a stainless sheet metal worker myself I'm curious about what kind of thermal deflection you'll experience patching the holes. I know Tesla cold forms their panels and that it's some form of 300 series. I'd love to see how easy or difficult it would be to dolly out those dents. I know that grinding/finishing the welds to a factory finish would be incredibly difficult. I'd think either a random orbit palm sanded finish or media blasting would match the closest. Would be crazy to see one get mirror finished.
Mirror finish would look amazing (someone did it to a DeLorean), but it can blind other drivers. Though at least the hood angle would keep its glare from blinding the CT's driver.
He's gonna buy a new door haha it was a joke
@@theceo1537 exactly. I weld as a hobby and even I can tell you that door would look like garbage if it was welded, ground, sanded, and blasted to try and match. Plus getting the holes clean enough would be a pain and require complete disassembly.
