I got the 39s… my first real running shoes, as I train for my first half marathon, I needed to get more than a cheap and boring pair. I have personally liked and enjoyed them a lot. Great shoes.
Great video on these shoes ❤ I bought the Nike Pegasus 40 and have been wearing it for 2 months. And I can tell you that it’s so comfortable and soft for any physical activity with my main training being running and jogging.
Lmao was thinking the same. But don’t lie…Nike sends you a shoe, you’re gonna grease those palms real nice for even a 0.1% chance you get that endorsement.
This video is like a Nike commercial. Most of the running channels are not impressed with this shoe and I tend to agree with them. I tried my cousin's Peg 39s (basically the same shoe) the other day and they were nothing special - heavy and firm with a little energy return. My Hoka Mach 5 and my Asics Novablast 3 although very different shoes, both feel 10 times better than the Pegasus.
It's personal preference. I like them. Tried other brands including the Brooks glycerin 20. The pegasus works better for me. I ran 1000s of kms in older versions without any problems. Could be that I don't like unstable shoes, squishy shoes or shoes with a front rocker. That rules out a heap of the latest models.
Good review. Would be nice to know other stats like shoe size and fit(normal or wide), weight, and how that relates to how the shoe worked for you. Can you do an ASICS review? Or any other brand for bigger guys who do running?
Doesn’t your Peg40 give you a bit of an overpronation? Mine does, on the left shoe. It makes my left foot roll inward a bit. No prob with the right shoe. I hope this issue goes away naturally. I did not feel this on my Peg38.
It is a good choice I already retired mine; I think I have around 500+ miles on it, and right now I am running on peg 38 (I love it) and the Asics Superblast (in love)plus with the Asics Metaspeed Edge+ for racing.
@@John-gq7um LMAOO i already had a pair and i loved em so I was hype on the SL support. But as a content creator i guess he cant run everyday his “daily” trainers haha
its hard to trust this as an honest review since its a sponsor paid promo so by not even mentioning any cons is really ehhh. Like when Marques Brownlee does tech at least he says pros and cons and its honest. Not saying these pros aren't true but its really just a promo vid
Cant accept the fact that nike is big shoe maker and serious running shoe brand doesn’t offer wide 2E and 4E sizing. A serious running shoe brand should offer a full range of shoe fitting and proper stability shoe.
Everyone should start wearing bare foot shoes here. I’m surprised you as a runner to be using shoes causing foot misalignment and many other problems. Please look into bare foot shoes I am crying for your feet 🤣🤣🤣

Totally unbiased views. Thanks matt
@@BollywoodMediaOnline yes I'm being sarcastic
Not sure if you can say *totally* unbiased, as this is a sponsored video (it seems)
Hahahahahah

Unless you're psychic, there's no way you can know either way.

I use my old pegasus's for trail running now. I recently switched to the zoomx streakfly

Great video. Saw you on Kofuzi and decided to follow your videos also!
Awesome video. Any recommendations on running shorts?
Great review, a different question, why do you wear 2 watches?
great video
I like these because they actually come in wide width.
Hey Matthew. What’s the best way to recover from a marathon or half a marathon? How long should a person wait till he runs another long distance run?
Until his legs feel better. Are you stupid or does active thought hurt?
Can you review Nike Pegasus 41?
Do you have a favorite no show sock? I'm not a fan of the socks peeking out of the shoe lol.
If Nike/Dick’s Sporting Goods didn’t sponsor you, will the Peg 40 still be your fav daily trainer? Nothing much changed from the 39 to 40 just saying
Nothing really has changed since the 35s except for the air pockets
You mean they’ve gotten worse
I have seen him often wearing Nike shoes in runs or racing videos (non-sponsored), so I think he genuinely likes them
What shorts were you wearing on the morning run? They look really cool
I bought nike pegasus trail 4 gore tex for daily trainer in winter
I purchased the p40's in bright blue. The shoes are nice. The arch is a little high, but iv adjusted to it now..

Would you recommend these shoes for use in the gym when lifting weights?
No you need flat shoes for weight.
@@Mohow-fv2vq yea it’s what I’m using now. Pegasus 39 for running and vans low for weights
What watch you rocking in this? I am wanting to upgrade from my apple series 6
Is Nike Pegasus 37 is good for daily training?
It is a good choice I already retired mine; I think I have around 500+ miles on it, and right now I am running on peg 38 (I love it) and the Asics Superblast (in love)plus with the Asics Metaspeed Edge+ for racing.
this shoe and asics nimbus 25 cost same in india, what to get? nimbus 25 better?
I ran in 32s for a long ass time, wish I could find them easier
Does the higher drop hurt with running form?
What happened to you using the adizero SL’s as a daily as you said in a short?
I bought a pair because of that LOL
@@John-gq7um LMAOO i already had a pair and i loved em so I was hype on the SL support. But as a content creator i guess he cant run everyday his “daily” trainers haha
What do you think about nike invisible 3 ?
I Much rather my pegasus 40 than the invincible 3. The invincible 3 is unstable.
I can’t seem to be able to see the shoes, are you finding it hard as well?
Which best shoe daily 5km India road running nike invincible3 Vs adidas adizero sl Vs nike pegasus 40
cumulus 25... ;)
You should review the Nike invincible 3 or Nike streakflys next
Nike didn't pay him to review those.
I will training in Pegasus 39
Just got a pair for 37$ after coupons and discounts :D

Maybe do a pair of Hokas
Why 2 watches
pls review the nike vomero17
I like the brief 40 year history of the Pegusas. Also, what do you think about 6 mile run in 47 minutes?
I bought it today
how to wash this get dirty very easily.
Is this a review or an advertisement?
this is an ad though, how can I believe you.

This one actually comes in wide surprisingly
Literally never seen this dude wear this shoe in his videos lmao. Everybody knows the pegasus isn’t it
Not really. They're a good shoe for those that like them... like me.
put on ur shirt Man! , maybe I will cop 39,😁40's still expensive
Just bought the 40s online from REI. They still have it for $90.
The 40 has better lock down.
40 has upgraded lock down
I love my pegasus 40"
i think the 39s are much better
I don't like running I rather walk too many injuries from running
I rather walk than drive to work too many car accidents. Lol

I wish the peg had a wider toe box. It would be much more amazing.
They make them wide too
Same. Only thing I noticed after running on them for a while
I can't trust someone who wears two watches.
Same
Its called dedication show respect
the fact that Nike send him the shoes makes me feel weird like if the opinion loose a lot of objetivity.
Its not flyknit
No but is more durable than the fly knit
