Hi Russ, I am from UK and got the Peg 39's in June. I've covered over 700km in them and they still have solid bounce, and support. My feet never hurt after running. They still have grip. I am hopeful you will enjoy at least the next 600km in your trainers!

Hi man! Glad you like the ver 40! After 1year, my 39 finally retired with 1000k mileage, I think the 40 got a very similiar build as the 39, I now considering whether to get a pair of 40 or trying out other shoes haha
Been running half to full marathons with the Asics GT 2000 and Kayano, Brooks Adrenaline, and Brooks Guide series. Basically I run with stability running shoes since I have flat feet. But recently copped the Nike Pegasus 39 during Black Friday knowing it’s a neutral shoe but to my surprise I kinda like the ride as opposed to stability shoes since they’re slightly more to the firmer side giving that stability feel. Feels more responsive in a way, slightly softer cushioning, and enables me to bend my forefoot more during takeoff. I’d say the 39 is stable enough preventing your arch from totally collapsing. That being said good concise review, and neutral shoes really opened my perspective.
Similiar to you, I did love the stability and support from the Pegasus 39, I have run with the shoes now for 300km, and it still performing really well, love to see you get a great pickup and happy running!

I've been browsing and watching many videos on what's a good running shoes to buy for beginner runner/casual use and I found that the Pegasus 39 fits my needs. I just ordered them yesterday for half the retail price and I'm excited to try them out!

Hi Russ, first time to see your vid and it does help a beginner runner like me! I start running a few months ago due to lose weight and now I mainly focus on how to run better! There is something need your advice. I bought two Boston 10 shoes as rotation and now one is retiring. My race pace is 5:20/km. I usually do interval, tempo, long run, easy run once a week and weekly mileage is around 50k. I tried Hoka Rincon 3 before and could feel the ground contact (mainly my forefoot). The impression is strange. The feeling is normal when I just stand instead of run. There is some sayings that thinner outsole could help strengthen some parts of muscle which I never use when I wear supportive cushioned shoes. As a new rotation shoe, do u think I should choose another supportive shoes or try a thinner outsole?

Since you already have a pair of cushioning shoes which suitable for doing easy run and long run, if I was you, I will then get a pair of shoes that is light weight and more less cushion for the speed workout, and I kinda agree it is okay for us to sometimes try less cushion shoes to train our feet a bit, like the pegasus 39 I wear it is mid cushion shoes so I still can feel abit ground when I wear it, but back to you, if you feel uncomfortable with the ground feeling maybe the shoes brand does not fit your leg, I have one of my friend suggest a brand called saucony, and he recommended endorphine speed, maybe you can give it a try!

ya basically from I have saw, the midsole and outsole is similiar, little changes on the upper, make it more breathable and they remove the flywire lacing which I really like haha, overall I think it will be worth it to go with 39

Hello! Yeap! This definitely a comfortable shoes for walking because it got soft cushion,for gym I got friend wearing it and he got a good feedback using it when doing gym so definitely recommended as well!

Mine is us 9 around 27cm, I think you can go with 8.5 This shoes is great for daily training, lightweight, supportive, and you will feel a bit more of the ground when landing (less cushiony), if you love a more cushion shoes maybe invincible 3 will be a great option, other wise pegasus is enough for speed work easy work long run, that my opinion

Yes! For Upper use shoes cleaning solution scrub it gently with a soft tooth brush then use a soft microfiber towel to clean the excess soap and try it up, last but not least, leave the shoes to dry at room temperature, hope it help you!

we have the same size of feet, I grab us 8.5, it is slight big without, but with the sock, it fit well for me!
