    I was going to skip buying the Pegasus this year but then I tried the FlyEase version ... loved it !
    I'm having lots of fun so far with my 39 FlyEase. It is a simple shoe but works very well and the versatility the FlyEase offers is amazing to easily put my feet inside the shoe and easily take them off .
    I'm now a fan of the FlyEase and hopefully more Nike shoes will offer this tech coming along the normal version on day one.

    • @its_Matt_B_
      @its_Matt_B_  2 года назад

      I haven't tried the FlyEase, but after hearing how much you like the tech, I'm curious! Do they feel any different from the normal Pegasus for running?

    • @MiracleWarriors
      @MiracleWarriors 2 года назад +2

      @@its_Matt_B_ not difference in weight, normal and FlyEase have the same exactly weight !
      Maybe the FlyEase can generate a bit more heat on the top of the foot with that burrito kinda tongue but I had no problem.. Any Pegasus is less hot to run in the summer then the Pegasus 38, super snug at the forefoot and lots of padding everywhere ... but the most breathable Perhaps is still the #36 .

    Nice review Matt. I liked the 38s and use them for winter running. I think I’ll pass on the 39s as I’m seeing a lot of reviews suggesting the 38s are better. Save some $ and go with the 38s ! Run well Matt

    I have both 38 and 39 .
    The 38 is much better than 39.
    39 is much harder-firmer.
    39 they are not for recovery days.
    After many kilometres it seems that they have not air zoom unit in front.
    Its almost like you run without shoes.
    The 38 ,in the front,they have much bigger air zoom unit and in better position compared to 39.
    The 38 are softer and splashier than 39.
    I had done 1500 kilometres with 38 .
    After 100 km with 39 i have almost every time pain in the achille and in the gulf.

      It’s good to hear I’m not the only one who prefers the 38. I think the Peg 40 is only supposed to be an upper update, so don’t expect too much to change this year!

    • @akiskaradimas2593
      @akiskaradimas2593 Год назад +1

      @@its_Matt_B_
      The upper must be updated because it seems very cheap although its not.
      Nike must put air zoom unit in all length or changes the two air zoom units with a strobel unit in all length of the shoe.
      But Pegasus 39 is step back for Nike.
      A lot of people with pain achilles and serious problems in gulf.

      yea there's no comparison, infinity 2's are def my favorite running shoes and even casual walking shoes, they have loads of cushioning on impact but at the same time they are firm and bouncy enough where it put some pep in my step casually. I've even replaced my ultra boost 20''s with infinity 2's

      Great that this comment exists. Thought that I am the only one who dislikes Pegs. It's not like I hate Pegs 38, but I simply don't enjoy running in them. They feel dull and heavy. And they are not really responsive. Lacing is weird. If I use running lock feels like it ruins the geometry of the shoe and it leads to feet being very sore and tired. Another issue is weird and annoying rubbing in the left foot every time after 6 km. Floatride Energy 3 and 4 are so much more fun as daily running shoes. For tempo Puma Deviate Nitro is much better. Don't plan to purchase Pegs anymore. There are so much more better shoes.

      @@its_Matt_B_ i've had to start double tying them, i did notice that fixed it, but it feels less comfortable and i never had that issue with my pegasus 37 so just wanted to see if other people are having that issue as it would deter me from getting the pegasus 39 if it was going to have the same issue

    • @its_Matt_B_
      @its_Matt_B_  2 года назад +1

      @@IanMusa I can’t really say because I never single knot my shoes. IMO, running shoes should always be double knotted. I started doing it while racing because it would ruin a race to stop and re-tie them, and that logic just moved into all my running. 🤷🏻‍♂️
      I wonder if you can move the knot around to make it more comfy? LMK if you figure out a way to do it and make it feel good.

The 39s are technologically better (I guess) than the 38s so if you could get them for the same price as the 38s, I think most would be better off with the 39s.
